What's up with all the attention Glenn Beck gets on this site lately?

I think what is helpful is that we can send what beck is saying to people who will only listen to the talking heads. Here is a talking head saying what we have been saying all along. We have to use them like they use us.

Either he is just playing lip service for ratings or has been given the node to allow certain details to come out into public view.

Beck only prooves that Ron Paul had the publics interest during the election, which he participated in the censorship, and now that the election is over, it's time to "pander" to all those Ron Paul supporters.

I turned him off over a year ago, but I have been catch bits and pieces of his show over the last couple of months. There is a distinct difference in his philosophy. I voted for Bush twice and only after the immigration debate did I start to dig and see him for what he was. People can change their views. As long as he is exposing the truth, and inviting good guests such as Michael Sheuer and Ron Paul on his show, his videos are very valuable for persuading the general public to listen.

I enjoy sharing them with others, because I know they might pay attention to Fox video.

So that's the point I make, for people that are already aware, Glenn Beck does not do much good, however he's great for newcomers.

They'll want Glenn Beck to run for president. It doesn't take much around here. Have you noticed how desperate many here are for a hero?

The things I see people saying on this website, the views you have, I would have thought 3-4 years ago that you all needed to be hunted down by homeland security.

I was one of those "the only enemy to our freedom and country is the muslim terrorists" people.

I woke up. And I've witnessed a lot of other people wake up since then too. Perhaps Glenn is waking up a bit himself. Don't be so quick to judge. Be cautious of one's motives, but understand that people do change their views drastically. I went from thinking everything Bush did was perfectly fine, to pretty much overnight changing my mind and seeing him as the biggest threat to our country, a dictator.

Beck is a barometer for the rest of the country. He's almost 75% there.

I'm encouraged because FOX is parading him around to it's other shows and giving him free reign to speak-out. Granted they are only doing it because his ratings have gone vertical and it boosts viewership wherever he goes.
But it's very big.

He now agrees totally with Ron Paul.

That's a very big step for any MSM talk radio AND TV host.

Even Sean Hannity is moving that way with his "Revolution" message.

Bill O'Reilly has sat up and taken notice of alll the attention Glenn Beck is getting.

If O'Reilly flips and comes around to the Truth that Ron Paul has been saying for decades THAT will be a sign that there's hope for America to revolt and recover.

But in the meantime...Yes I agree, it's very aggravating to listen to Becks self-aggrandizement.

I see Rush as a gas bag blowhard, but the lemmings follow him. He would be another huge victory for true freedom if he spent less time bashing a party and more time teaching liberty.

I agree with you. I can't trust any of them after the way they treated Ron Paul.

I think basically he will read and dramatize whatever the directors tell him to. Considering the stock of News Corp is down so much, they will say anything to help the ratings!

I'm glad you joined in to make the post, I agree with you whole heartedly. Television is a addictive control device, nothing more.

My Grandfather's best friend told him television was going to destroy society. Well, I can't say, society was destroyed, but in so few hands it has had a negative effect.

Do you trust Ron Paul, though? Because Ron Paul chooses to use Beck as a medium through which to broadcast his message. Beck at least seems to be learning from the process, because he has begun to echo his ideas.

This is called "success".

If Limbaugh, who is, beyond dispute one of the most powerful people in the media, also praises Paul on his radio show, that is success as well.
It helps spread Dr. Paul's celebrity and establishes his credibility with people in the mainstream.

If he is interviewed by Commie CBS News next week, same thing. It doesn't mean Ron Paul has become a Commie, and it doesn't make me a Commie if I applaud him appearing there.

The great goal, at this point, is to spread Dr. Paul's message. Don't you agree?

Eventually, if your ideas are correct, others will start to notice.

If a person kicks out every one that tries to be on their side, they will soon find themselves alone. In fact, to some degree, that's exactly what CERTAIN factions have done to themselves. "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People" is not a success story book.

When someone is wrong, or an idea is wrong, then call bulls***. When someone is right, You say "I agree", "I second that", or even "Nice to have you aboard". If they go wrong again, you reserve the right to call bulls*** again. But it's suicide to call bulls*** to someone when they say YOUR idea is RIGHT.

I personally try (not 100% successful at it, but try anyway) to NOT go around looking for enemies: I'm sure I'll find them if I do. It's better to look for solutions. Occasionally someone or something might be in your way, then you go around them or through them. But you don't stop your journey and follow them back to their house when the fight's over. They aren't the goal, just the obstacle.
