The truth about Glenn Beck is that he wants to see Ron Paul supporters and the victim’s families who believe 9/11 was inside job to be sent to FEMA concentration camps.

Glenn Beck has higher ratings for his time-slot than all the other network shows COMBINED.
His producers and higher ups are allowing him to speak openly about the issues that are popular on the Internet, because he's bringing News Corp a lot of money.
I don't think he's trying to "hijack" our movement, I think it makes financial sense for them to allow him to speak freely about the issues that matter to most Americans.

As far as I am conserned, any CCM personality is a shill

This is a real funny story here in Spain: there is a conservative "libertarian" website called www.libertaddigital.com that strongly supported war in Iraq and Bush foreign policy, and vehemently attacked anyone (left or right-wing) who dared to oppose, even calling them friends of terrorists and anti-americans. Its editor recommended Horowitz and frontpagemag.com. There is another website, a libertarian "austrian" one, called www.juandemariana.org that strongly promotes peace, prosperity and liberty. Libertad Digital (and COPE radio) is like FoxNews, and Instituto Juan de Mariana is like Independent Institute. Water and oil.
Believe me, in last months Libertad Digital has posted a lot of Juan de Mariana (libertarian anti-central banking) articles and signed up some of their columnists. They even translate some Ron Paul and John Stossel articles and Jim Rogers interviews. They have completely changed their minds, like Glenn Beck, but i still don´t trust them.
Rejoice the message is getting out.

I don't think Glen is doing
I don't think Glen is doing these shows because he "found Paul". Glen probably has very little to do with what he is allowed to put on his show. His producers get their instructions from the top, and I'm sure last year during RP's rocket numbers, the executives planted a couple interns in our camps to gauge a feel regarding what we are talking about. They sit back and collect 6 months of information (topics, issues, etc) go back to the executives with what they've got, and 6 months later they've got 3-4 months worth of show material.
Beck is a useful tool to the corporation. Notice how he hasn't said a word about the owners of the Fed? Nothing about states passing sovereignty legislation? Nothing regarding the Plunge Protection Team or Obamas communist mentor? Nothing regarding legislation requiring serial numbers on ammo?
It's almost like they've cherry picked a couple doomsday scenarios and decided to run with it for a while. And now Colbert is mocking them. They all work together. None of this is an epiphany.

I think Glenn has changed in
I think Glenn has changed in the last year. Mainly from Ron Paul. If you look at him he is constantly looking like he is on the epiphany ride from seeing so deep into the political corruption he doesn't know what to think of this country let alone the world.
He is bringing light to some things that would have never gotten national attention. Does anyone have the FEMA camp thing from last night's show?

My thoughts:
First, he is like the only broadcast that is really putting our issues on national TV other than maybe Lou Dobbs.
Second, I remember someone on here complaining about the NRA and I mentioned it to my husband. He said something like "Remember, when your on a team and you've got the ball and your guy is headed in the right direction, why would you want to complain about how he's running." I said, your right.

I think just because someone's wearing the colors, doesn't mean they're on the same team.
The terms "Agent provocateur" and "Red-baiting" come to mind.
Just a possibility. I like Beck, but I'm not going to assume the man who called Ron Paul the mayor of crazy-town (when Ron has a track record Glenn should have looked at, and at a time that was Very important) is either informed, or on my "team".
But again, I do like Beck, Limbaugh and Alex, unlike some of my fellow DP'rs.

what to make of Glenn Beck. The first video is from Nov. 2007 and perhaps he has changed his mind since then, perhaps not. The second video was put on youtube Mar 3, but I have no idea when the interview occurred! Is it old information?? I don't know. Anyway, for now I plan to continue just observing Mr. Beck--he certainly APPEARS to have done an about-face...time will tell.

Actually, that's not quite true any more. Early in the primaries it was the case but after Ron Paul dropped out Obama and McCain both wound up getting more donations from the military than Dr. Paul did, unfortunately :(
