Rush said yesterday,"He Loves Ron Paul"

Did anybody else catch that who cares to give him some of your time from 11-2? I know he's a big talker and could of helped Ron Paul get elected last year, but he doesn't take sides, remember?
Here is the transcript from the website:
Story #3: A Temporary Amnesty to Denounce El Rushbo?
RUSH: Well, folks, I'm starting to feel a little sorry for these Republicans. They're accepting these invitations to go on butt boy news shows, and the latest example is poor old Ron Paul. You know, I love Ron Paul. I didn't think he was presidential material, but Ron Paul is a guy that stands for freedom. Ron Paul just got through being harassed by David Shuster.

Rush is a tool !! for the NWO but I know you all ready knew that, It just felt good to say it out loud. :o)
We are the ICONOCLASTS
While I realize we have valid disagreements with the neo-cons, Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingraham, O'reilly, Beck(and btw Beck is turning away from the dark side), these people influence 20 to 30 million listeners weekly. To focus derogatory comments towards their personalities instead of policies will not be very productive in luring their followers to 'open their minds' to the constitutional point of view.
For example when I hear someone using derogatory comments towards Ron Paul, I consider them ignorant, stupid, etc. My mind is closed to whatever they have to say at this point. So all I am saying, derogatory statements aimed at these 'leaders' of the phony conservative movement by Ron Paul supporters will only serve to turn off the people we are trying to educate. Remember as Ron Paul supporters, we are the ICONOCLASTS, and the two most holy sacred icons of the NEOs are Foreign Policy and the FED.

I agree, at least until they betray Ron Paul again.
I don't understand the people who say they don't trust Beck. I think Beck has gone deep enough and far enough with his support for Ron Paul that he wouldn't flip-flop again. But I can't blame people for holding a grudge over the 'terrorism' thing. Still, I consider him mostly harmless.
It's these mainstream GOP talking heads who disturb me. I think the odds of them turning on Ron Paul, doing unexpected hit pieces on him, and trying to label him a "crazy old coot" (like Ross Perot) are fairly high.
Rush may praise Dr. Paul this month, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear a Paul Shanklin parody song mocking him a few weeks later.
I think Rush is good at what he does, but he's still a mainstream Republican as far as I can tell.

i wish he'd just *rush* into oncoming traffic, minus his own car.
Rush is a....
Big fat pill eating idiot.
Other than that he's ok.
If this movement keeps growing, in 4 years the Republicans
will be begging to join it. When they do, we should not let them. We only want people who want a Constitutional Republic.
Aw. RP, don't you wanna be Rush's valentine now?
Grr. If Rush really wanted to honey up to "poor old Ron Paul", he would've left out the feeling sorry stuff and the part about not thinking RP was presidential material.
He would've also mentioned that RP absolutely whooped Shuster...
Rush, Rush, I think you ruined your chances with RP even before the first smooch.
He nNow is the time
Rand Paul should announce a run for the presidency. This would be a perfect time to ride his father's coattails, and he would get major publicity early in the running- but with us knowing he was running, we could start funding him like a bunch of maniacs, which in turn would also gain momentum for him. This would be called preemptive strategy.
Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine
The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!
Yep
He did say that - all of it. Like I said before - I love the guy. He just disagreed with Dr. Paul on some issues and there's nothing wrong with that. But Rush did say he loves Ron Paul and Ron Paul stands for freedom. Plus, with all the added press coverage for Ron Paul it is great.

Well, we shouldn't trust anyone in mainstream media.
I can't honestly blame people for having this reaction. We shouldn't trust mainstream media talking heads, and we shouldn't trust Republicans. Both tend to be snakes in the grass. Backstabbers.
I do think it's a positive sign that Dr. Paul's message is growing enough to get such watery praise from Limbaugh, but I have no way of knowing what these people will say about Ron Paul tomorrow.

Rush
Comedian Rush Limbaugh can blow it out his oversized poop chute. I would prefer that he continue to dismiss Ron Paul rather than praise him. Ron Paul "stands for freedom," but he was not "presidential material." Limbaugh is the worst kind of pandering hypocrite - a disgraceful waste of perfectly good blubber.
OMG
"a disgraceful waste of perfectly good blubber." Hah-hah!. I can't wipe the smile off of my face. That is funny!!!!!!!!!!!
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
"It’s not like I’m just trying to win and get elected. I’m trying to change the course of history." ~Ron Paul
I think some of the Neo-Cons are starting to realize...
that they are going to die without us. Not enough of them to make a difference though. All they do is provide lip service. When it comes to actually living up to their rhetoric, they fail, and that is why they are being voted out. I think the Democommies are starting to have the same fear, and realize that no position is safe also. Long time incumbents on both sides have lost positions. I propbably will not go back to the Republicrat party anytime soon. I have heard some positive changes to our local county platform though. It never ceases to amaze me how "conservative" the Repubs get when they think their jobs are on the line. Some of our local ones are starting to sound more and more like Dr. Paul. I ask them, "where the hell were you during the last eight years?" The most common response is that we live in a liberal state, so... I reply, "I don't give up my principles just so I can fit in," and neither should they. I think it will take many more losses for them to truly change. As far as Rush goes, he is just a party hack. I loved hearing him give Mr. Steele some crap though. Rush is right on one thing he stated-I have hung up on the RNC many times, stating that, after thier treatment of Dr. Paul, I left the party, and to put me on their "Do Not Call" list. Steele crumbled like a little baby-and this guy is supposed to bring the party back out of the toilet? Good luck with that Mr. Steele.
Rush was giving Dr. Paul a "backhanded complement".
Rush Limbaugh had the opportunity to be the most influential broadcaster in America. He blew that opportunity a long time ago. Rush has been coasting since the disasterous 2006 mid-term elections, and now the GOP establishment he fully embraced after 1996 has (as usual) turned on him.
Limbaugh differs little from such hacks as Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Joseph Farah (WorldNetDaily), who pay lip service to the Constitution, conservative social issues and national sovreignty, then betray sincere people such as Dr. Paul. If any of Rush Limbaugh's ilk pay attention to Ron Paul, it's because Dr. Paul is the only credible Republican and each of these hacks is desparate trying to regain credibility.
Damning him with faint praise.
Rush doesn't measure up to a freedom loving American Patriot either.

Looks like the GOP bigwigs
Looks like the GOP bigwigs is finally coming around to a changed world. People, whether radio listeners or voters, are starting to realize Ron Paul has generally been right over the last years (decades, really; but it was less obvious earlier.) For Rush to get that $40mill contract renewed, he simply needs to bend to reality. 20mill people won't tune in consistently to hear someone fight last decade's political battles.
Besides, Glen Beck is supposedly closing in from (still far) behind at an alarming rate. He's now the guy to emulate, even for someone as big as Rushbo.
Watch for 2012 hopefuls to include in their pitches "Although he's a bit extreme, America would do well to listen to some of the things Ron Paul has been saying......" as well. When the truth becomes too obvious to deny, it no longer will be.
The reason
Rush doesn't see him as presidential material is because Rush knows Ron Paul is NOT CFR, an insider. THAT is why he is not presidential material to Rush Limbaugh.
that's one reason why I like
that's one reason why I like Ron Paul though... that he ISN'T presidential material. I don't have to worry/fear that he might expand government/exceed his power.... I don't think he's a particularly good speaker/inspirational in the traditional sense, but he's honest and down to earth, and right on the issues, and at this point, I'd rather have someone who's right in the philosophy and has the right answers than someone who can make a fancy speech/be the classic president. That's been part of our problem... we keep getting those "strong leader" types elected and then they go off and do whatever they want. If we had humbler leaders like Ron Paul who really don't want the job in the first place we, as conservatives, would all be a lot better off.
agree.

Aside from everything else he says...
..he's not doing too bad being a college drop out and making $40+ million a year running his mouth for 25 years+ and of course his fund for the children of fallen Marines. Being a former Marine who survived a few combat incursions in the last 2 decades, I'll give him that much.

What's with the Rush Limbaugh hunt lately?
It seems like the media is acting in almost spooky unison in their attacks against Rush Limbaugh lately. Suddenly he's more important to them than anything. Why is that? Are the Democrats in the media genuinely angry at him for some reason, or are they setting him up as a totem they can use to somehow help the Democrats in the end? Maybe Rush is more unpopular than popular, so he makes a good straw man to bash? It must help Obama in some way to bring up Rush's name.
Register as Republican and Vote for Ron Paul
distraction
No one is happy about the stock market and our tanking economy right now. I see this all as a big distraction from the fact that Obama has done everything possible to create a lack of confidence in the market. I mean damn, it's dropped 3000 pts since November.
Rush is simply a scapegoat right now. Obama wants to use him to say why he can't get anything good done or productive, and how 'division' is causing many of these problems - > Rush Limbaugh.
Just another Dog and Pony show while the bankers rip off tax payers, the economy tanks and Obama actually implements socialized medicine.
Welcome to the United Socialist States of America. We are screwed. Thank God Ron Paul is out there talking some sense into people. At some point the 50% of Obama supporters will realize they were brainwashed into this crap when they lose everything.
BTW, doesen't the Alinsky doctrine say oust your opponent publically? He's also using this as a pretext to 2012 run by trying to make the Republican party look more evil than the democrats.

I think
they have a problem. The people are uniting against them, so they need someone polarizing so that the republicans and democrats fight against each other the way they are supposed to. What better person to do that than the master, Rush.
