Take a look at the bill (it is in two parts) and let other readers know what surprises you find or what you think will be of the most interest to other readers.

Stimulus Bill
If you want to learn more about the stimulus bill you can check out opportunity.gov. Opportunity.gov is a Federal website that is geared toward people dealing with unemployment. It has helps for worker retraining and Pell grants for people who want to go back to school, and unlike quick payday loans, you don't have to pay them back. The available funding for Pell grants has dramatically increased, and also the tax credits for college students with the American Opportunity Tax Credit, which are both part of President Obama's plans for supercharging higher education in our nation. Taking advantage of opportunity.gov might mean getting a job good enough that you'll never worry about debt relief.

Nonetheless, it is good information to have, Mike! At least you didn't use the word troll, which is also refreshing on this site. Thanks!. :)

Do the math
There is more Democrats than Republicans voting. They always said, "Socialism will save Capitalism."
Who
"always said that"?
Marx?
If he didn't
I just did (wink)
There is nothing wrong with Socialism or Capitalism, it is just the God Damn people in them.

I saved the site and will look at it later.
Sorry Richard

I know it is a non-starter :(
My buddy who is a Democrat sent it to me. I told him DP'ers are against it. He has a ton of money in banks; maybe later he will see the light when Obama has to bail-out the FDIC.
Subsequently my friend sent me this:
I finally found the section dealing with the $400.00. A married
couple would get a $800.00 tax credit for their taxes for the 2009
tax year. A single person would get a $400.00 tax credit. The
ceiling dollar amounts are: The amount allowable as a credit under
subsection (a) (determined without regard to this paragraph and
subsection (c)) for the taxable year shall be reduced (but not below
zero) by 2 percent of so much of the taxpayer's modified adjusted
gross income as exceeds $75,000 ($150,000 in the case of a joint
return). The links for the PDF files are included in the article that
I sent you and they are about 19.2 MB.
Nothing for children this time, but there is "PLENTY OF PORK" that the
Senate and House included in the final bill.
hmmm
It looks like the tax credit amounts will go down next year :(
