FREEDOM: What the left wing of 'digg' cannot 'bury'

While much has been said of liberal censorship via proposals for “Fairness Doctrine,” censorship is already being directed at conservative, particularly pro-gun, voices on the Internet. At digg.com, left-wing activists of the moveon.org or Daily Kos bent are working to “bury” pro-freedom articles and thereby prevent them from appearing in the popular site’s search engine.

The effort to suppress the popularity of articles and limit their distribution is best summarized this bitter message of hate posted by Zomgondo:

“I despise Ayn Rand wingnuts. If you post in favor of Ron Paul, guns, or any other crackpot porn I ‘will’ bury you. Tip of the day nobody listens to you because YOU ARE FULL OF S%!%. F^$& off and die kthx.”
FREEDOM: What the lefties of digg don’t want you to have

You know, I started to write this piece a few days ago and decided against. I figured that I could almost understand it if the quasi-communists hated gun rights and buried that. But the piece they just buried didn’t center on gun rights, it centered on FREEDOM.

Guess that tells us what liberals want, doesn’t it?

That’s right: What they “buried” yesterday was entitled, “What is your state’s Freedom Index?” and centered on a study entitled “Freedom In The 50 States: An Index of Personal and Economic Freedom.”

Like assassins in the night, either coordinated or singly, these quasi-communists used “bury” for a piece on personal freedom, while remaining cowardly and anonymous.

FREEDOM: Will you let them bury YOURS?

If not, do the following four things:

“Digg” not only this piece, but the original at: “What is your state’s Freedom Index?”
“Shout” this piece to everyone you know, since it will probably disappear from digg;
Show them you won’t tolerate their fascism: zomgondo and drakoi, for example, both have “favorite” articles on the left side of their pages. Selecting the applicable article will reveal the dreaded “bury” button. From there, it is up to you;
Tell digg.com to: (1) Eject the “buriers;” (2) Limit the number of “burys” per day from a single user; and (3) End use of automated bury scripts.
