There are a lot of people out there searching for truth, in a society that is full of symbols, superstitions and taboos; my purpose for writing this article is to demonstrate how the State/Church uses numerology especially certain numbers to cause us to react; and hopefully by shedding light on the subject, people will be liberated from those who use numerology and institutional religion to control them.
One of the best resources to learn about numerology, of course is the bible, full of many numbers, as anyone knows who has ever taken the time to read it. So many numbers that for someone without knowledge, it appears foolish and many times tends to make little sense.
One particular part of the bible that is best for explaining the use of numbers is that of the book of Kings, where is found the great wisdom of Solomon.
Solomon as many know was considered a very wise man, and if one reads the book of Kings it appears that he also was quite the architect, building a palace for himself and of course a temple.
"And Solomon built his own house in thirteen years, and brought it to perfection." (1 Kings 7:1)
The number 13 is considered an unlucky number even until today as it is a number used in witchcraft.
Interesting that it took thirteen years as thirteen is arguably the number of Jewish tribes, "Reuben", "Simeon", "Levi", "Judah", "Zebulun", "Isschar", "Dan", "Gad", "Asher", "Nephatali", Joseph's sons "Ephraim" and "Manasseh" (Joshua 17:17), and "Benjamin"; kind of like the Jewish calendar – which is lunar based, with twelve months, and thirteen in leap years.
The bible is full of references to the number thirteen as thirteen was the number of apostles with Christ. And, of course, the number thirteen is evident in our American culture as most everyone with an education knows there were thirteen original States when the union was formed. Thirteen is also known by those who have knowledge of geometry to be the number of points it takes to make a six sided star using the method described by Euclid, and many times the six sided star is referred to as the Star of David. There are 12 points on the symbol with one point in the centre, used as a guide when making, so one cannot err.
The Star of David is very commonly used today, worn as jewelry and even a symbol on flags. The Star of David has six outer points, six small triangles and six inner sides, a curious reflection of the number 666, a number which has much taboo in our society; it is a number first found in the book of Kings of the bible, as it refers to the weight of gold Solomon recieved.
"Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold." (1 King 10:14)
The book of Kings is the first occurrence of the number 666 in the Bible. A special significance is given to the first use of a word or symbol in the bible by scholars, and that significance is carried throughout the entire Bible. Many scholars have attempted to link 666 to Solomon or the Queen of Sheba but the plain fact is that the direct context of 666 in this verse is gold, six hundred threescore and six talents of gold to be exact.
People who practice the art of the occult use the Star of David as a symbol of power, a necessary talismen for their craft, because it represents for them both the number 13 and 666.
Now any student of history can tell you that the numbers 13 or 666 do not have their origins from the bible. A simple observation of nature and the cycle of the moon gives us the number 13. In a solar year there are 13.369 moons based on the Sidereal month and 12-13 full moons per year based on the Synodic month.

As for the number 666, it's origin dates well before the writing of the books of the bible, for it was used by the Babylonians to represent their sun god in connection with their 37 gods.
In addition to the Babylonians, the number 666 was prominent in Egyptian sorcery (where the Israelites spent many years learning as slaves), and the Romans also adopted 666 and worship of the sun most probably from the Babylonians. But I am sure the Chinese will argue that the origin of the gnostic use of the number 666 is well to the east.
Many people associate numerology with the practice of "black magic or darksided witchcraft, those witches who want control over the knowledge of nature for themselves, and that is true, but also numerology was a tool used by military men of the past, both for superstituous reasons and for means of conveying a message via code. In fact by giving meaning to numbers, communication is made easier than via languages of the tongue.
There is evidence that Christians used numbers as codes to excape persecution by the Romans, and for this reason John, who wrote the book of Revelations used the number 666 in reference the Beast which we would recognize with the number 666.
The problem with using numbers is that it is necessary to have a consistent code and also not allow it to be discovered, perverted or allow numbers to control the actions of the one who employs them.
Constantine, who was a military conqueror, was the Roman authority who assisted in effort of putting together the books of the bible. It was during his reign that the books of the bible were chosen, since at that time the Christian religion was put into order as leaders made decisions to select or in many cases copies of letters and books were rejected, lost and burned.
Why was it necessary for bringing order to Christianity by the Romans, well the main reason was that at the time of Constantine early Christianity was growing in popularity, which was a threat to the State. True Christians at the time conveyed the message of Christ via language since at a time when there were no bibles. For Constantine a bible was something he needed to have to control the Christians who were basically anarchistic, communities who freely traded their goods and services, did not recognize earthly governments and therefore denied the Roman State, whose main purpose was to control trade and reap benefit for a select class of people.
As far as religion is concerned, Constantine was not a true Christian and held to his Roman beliefs worshipping stars, stars that in the Roman religion were considered gods and these gods included the worship the god sirius and the sun god. This included a belief that men themselves could also reach different levels of divinity. This is apparent from much of the architecture of his day and reflected by the inscription upon Roman coins with the frase Solis Invictus (Invincible Sun).
For Constantine he needed a way to control the Christian anarchists, in order to dominate the region and at the same time appease those who wanted to maintain the Roman religion.
The point for which I want try to make is that the bible became the means by which Constantine could infiltrate and control the Christians as the bible became a tool for the law (Latin Codex) of the Roman Empire under Constantine. The Roman religion of sunworshipping weaved it's way into texts of the bible by way of codes associated with it, and in addition codes were developed by sorcerors of Constatine's day with the use of numerology. This is not to say that the entire bible was corrupted, since Christian codes inserted in the texts also remain.
As for the Romans the use of numbers was how those familiar with the craft of numerology could continue to practice their religion under the guise of Christianity, perverting it's true message. What I write is not to discredit the message of the books within the bible, since the Christian message continues to ring out from the bible, but to discredit the Church/State that benefited from the bible, which was made for some to be a talisman for worship, to dominate the people, kill in the name of Christianity and to bring about the Roman Order.
I would venture to say that numbers probably were an easy way to communicate in simpler times, especially for builders, and for this reason many stories became associated with them. Also numbers were especially practical for military of the past and continues today as the military still uses numbers for codes. Kind of like James Bond 007.
What I will attempt now is to explain some of the details behind the code with the use of logic, from which to make a linear connection between the bible and a code, developed over the years, using numbers associated with the bible.
As many people are not aware, the first bibles contained 46 books to form the old testament and 27 to form the new testament for a total of 73 books.
The number 46 for star worshipping Romans, innocent enough, was a code. How the code is deciphered is with the knowledge of simple mathematics, since when 4 is divided by 6 it equals .666, the same number discribing Solomon's gold. The number 666 for Romans was recognized as the number for their sun god, and as such a dual interpretation of the bible could be understood.(The same is true for number 23 and 69). Someone with this knowledge could be recognized by members of the same occult group.
As for the number 27 this represented for the Roman their means of measuring the length of a year in relationship to the sun. It takes 27.32 days for the earth to rotate around the sun based on the sidereal cycle which they scholars of those days measured to be 365.25 days in a year, meaning that the moon rotates around the earth 13.369 times per year. Today this is knowledge easy to obtain, but in those days it was knowledge to be guarded in secrecy, for it gave power to those who studied the sciences. The number 27 was further used in creating a code, which again with simple math, by adding 2 plus 7, leads to the number 9 a number that functions as part of a code which I will explain later.
The number 73 in the Roman religion was an interesting number not only because it adds up to 10 for which 10 was recognized as a triangular and pyramidal number, a major part in the Roman system of hierarchy, but also because the number 73 was a way of communicating the number 777. Three sevens meant for the Romans, like the Babylonians, their most powerful and 37th god and superior to all other 36 gods controlled by it. For this reason even until today it represents a lucky number.
Now this knowledge of numerology was also known by the jewish priests who Christ confronted. In the bible scripture, their use of numerology was hidden in stories throughout the old testament, they also used the number 37 which was first mentioned in the bible, 2 Samuel 23:39, as the number of David's valiant men including David, thirty and seven in all. (As KIng and ruler David the 37th controlled the 36 valiant men.)
The number 37 like 73 was a way to communicate the number 777 and in the bible 777 appears 1 time, mentioned as the age of Lamech the father of Noah. Again for non Christian Romans they recognized 777 as their superior god, because Lamech is nothing more that an anagram for which letters can be arranged to communicate the name Malech, also known as Molech or Moloch, the sun god of the Canaanites, sometimes associated with the Sumerian sun god Baal.
'Then he brought me into the inner courtyard of the Lord's Temple. At the entrance to the sanctuary, between the entry room and the bronze altar, there were about twenty-five men with their backs to the sanctuary of the Lord. They were facing east, bowing low to the ground, worshiping the sun!'

The Romans were well educated about the names of the sun gods of the regions and great students of the Babylonians.
The influence of the Babylonians was widespread, as historians report, the Babylonian priests went to Egypt, where they taught their religious practices to the Egyptians. The Egyptians readily picked up these Babylonian religious concepts and further extended and developed some of their ideas into their astrology. Egyptians picked up the idea of 37 supreme gods from the Babylonians, as they saw the numbers 3, 6, and 7 as having magical properties, and was one reason they liked the idea of 37 supreme gods (it had both 3 and 7 in it). By adding 1+2+3+4+5+6+7...+36 the result is 666, so with the number 37 they could reach the magical 666. Also, they could multiply 37 by 3 or any multiple of it, and reach magical numbers such as 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666 (the product of 3 x 6 x 37), 777, 888, and so on. (The year 2009 celebrates 222 years of the Constitution, with the 111th congress and 44th president in office).
For the Romans they saw the use of numerology as a means of control, they believed that with the number 37 they could control the magic numbers, including the number 666 which for them represented the sun. They could therefore control the sun with the use of numerology and their superior god via the number 37 represented by the number 777.
777 continues to be a magical lucky number even in our modern culture and surprisingly for many Christians as well.
(The habits of the Roman use of numerology persists in our culture with people who when chosing a name for there new born son or daughter will choose a name that perhaps is in three parts that they believe brings upon the child a kind of protection or other schemes that are more involved, which I will elaborate on later.)
The historical bible was assembled in the 4th century under the authority of Constantine, but one thing to remember is that it wasn't until the 16th and 17th centuries that bibles became available to laymen. Until bibles became available to the public only priests would have had access to a bible. The purpose of a priest for Romans was to control a congregation and bring them into the Church and the purpose of the Church was to serve the interests of the State.
For true Christians, this is obvious. Since the Church is not a building and god's temple is not made of stone.
'Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.

One of the most popular bibles of our modern day, in English, is still the King James Version of the bible first published in 1608. It contains 66 books, 39 old testament and 27 new testament books. It was translated from Hebrew and the old Greek Septuagint bible. It is at this time that I believe a more elaborate code was developed, possibly to expose the acts of the Church/State.
At the time that modern English was developed, an alphabet was adopted which we continue to use until today. It is here that something interesting occurs when the alphabet is combined with the number nine.
"Wisdom is needed here. Let the one with understanding solve the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.* His number is 666.*" Revelation 13:18
The alphabet has 26 letters, a code for the two 6s which reflects the 66 books for which the code should be applied. (One thing to remember is that the English language added most of the words we use today, most all did not exist in English prior to the translation of the bible into the young modern English.)
If one takes each letter ABC... and applies a value to each one A=1, B=2, C=3... and multiply each by 9 then an alphabet of code developes when words and their values are added up.
Why nine? Well for one thing Jesus is said to have been punished with a whip call a cat with nine tails. But to begin, let me test a religious item that has nine parts, the jewish nine-branched candelabrum the "Menorah". The ninth holder, called the shamash ("helper or servant"), is for a candle used to light all other candles. And likewise 9 is used in the "English" code to help bring light to a messege.

Add up all the letter's positions in the alphabet and we get 74. Multiply by 9, the shamash, and it equals 666.
The story of Solomon teaches of the number 666 being linked to gold and of course the Menorah was to be made of pure gold. The Menorah comes as both a seven-branched candelabrum used in the First Temple, and a nine-branched candelabrum, provider of light, used on Hanukkah. (Good to remember that there has always been a division between the Jewish people all the way back to Moses when many kept the religious practices they learned while slaves in Egypt).
A curious coincidence of 7, gold and 9 is found on the periodic table of elements, 79 is the periodic number of gold.
Well how about the Latin word for gold? In the bible "gold" was identified with the number 666, so if this code is to be considered valid then it should have some connection to gold.

As for a connection to the sun, there is "Aurora" (mythology), the goddess of the dawn in Roman mythology. She has two siblings, a brother (Sol, the sun) and a sister (Luna, the moon), and four children, the Winds.

This was the beginning of the code and slowly as modern English developed a list of words began to form, words of interest that add up to 666 in English.
But before exploring English words how about the Roman numeral for 666 which is written 'DCLXVI'.

Here are other words of interest.
Let's start with the capital of England founded by the Romans. Londinium was established as a town by the Romans after the invasion of CE 43 led by the Roman Emperor Claudius. The name was changed to "London" to abide with the code.

But what importance should there be to have a code developed in English? Could it be because York was where Constantine I first became Emperor in 306 AD? With the authority of the throne of England, who got it's authority from the Catholic Church, creating a new language would be easy. This time period also corresponds to the Resettlement of the Jews in England and historic commercial policies dealing with Jews in England in the 17th century.
Who knows? Besides in those days royalty did not speak old English what they considered a language of pigs, but were schooled in Latin or French.
In any case it seems a little too involved to be a childish prank, but I will try to be objective and leave it to the individual to do further study as I continue to present the code.
It is good to keep in mind that many words will randomly add up to a certain number just by chance. (Of all the major languages in the world only the words English and "Mandarin" add up to 666, and for the Chinese 666 is lucky.)

Let me point out that in the first King James bible, the name of Christ was IESU, a four letter word, changed to "Jesus", a five letter word, 5 of course in "witchcraft" has a specific meaning. The question that arises is if those who changed the name of Christ from Iesu to "Jesus" were doing so to fulfill their beliefs or warn of what the Church/State had done to the message of Christ.
As for four letter words, I have not found many. Of those that do add up to 666, none very bad, unless "nuts" is a bad word.

To continue there is one thing that I should point out, and that is the difference in the number of books from 73 books of the original bible down to 66 books of the King James bible. There are 7 missing books. So what could 66 mean other than 2 X 33? (Curious that 2009 celebrates 233 years of American Independence, and by the way the year 7-4-1776, by design can be divided by 37 producing the number 20048, which can be interpreted to mean 2004+8=2012. Were those who chose that date planning something, perhaps warning of some cosmic event? Of course back then they started with 13 original States, and since then 37 new States to the Union have been added).
One possibility for the meaning of the number 66 could be a reference to the bible verse found in the book of Daniel which also points to gold.
{An example of how many religions use numerology is apparent in new age religions, one in particular for example the new and growing world religion called The Bahá'í Faith which is a monotheistic religion founded by "Bahá'u'lláh" in nineteenth-century Persia, emphasizing the spiritual unity of all humankind. The symbols of the religion are derived from the Arabic word Bahá’ (بهاء "splendor" or "glory"), with a numerical value of 9, which is why the most common symbol of the Bahá'í Faith is the nine-pointed star. Bahá'u'lláh wrote of the need for world government in this age of humanity's collective life. Because of this emphasis the international Bahá'í community has chosen to support efforts of improving international relations through organizations such as the League of Nations and the United Nations.

Back in the bible, in reference to the number 66, found in 'Daniel 3:1', Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore (60) cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
Babylon of course is located in Iraq. Wonder what they are building over there? Hope it isn't "nuclear".

The New Testament also contains a verse that hints at the Mark of the Beast's close relationship to gold. Acts is the only other book that uses the word charagma, the same Greek word translated as mark in Revelation. It is only used once, translated as "graven," and like 1 Kings is used in the same context as gold.
This is something interesting to watch as there is a crisis in the markets and gold may shortly return as a hegemonious standard for money and the European Community, but even if gold doesn't physically return as a standard, the mark is there.
If you take a look at any Euro coin there's a distinct 666 on the back, blazened right across Europe. It's also very interesting that the Greek two Euro coin depicts a woman riding a beast (Revelation 17:3). There's no doubt that the Euro will continue to grow stronger monetarily and may very well play a supporting role for the Mark of the Beast.
For this reason it is good to beware of "anagrams" where those who use the craft hide their secrets.

One example of an anagram is found with the recent G=20 meeting when leaders backed SDRs, possibly the new world currency. SDR stands for Special Drawing Rights.
Special-Drawing-Rights = 222 when each letters position in the alphabet is added up. {Perhaps in celebration of the 222nd anniversary (or death) of the American 'Cons'titution this year 2009, another curiosity is that on the back of a One Hundred Dollar bill found on the clock upon Independence Hall is marked the time 2:22}.

The King James Version published in 1608 was during a turbulent time in Europe and on purpose chose only 39 books for the old testament. This number was chosen to convey a different messege from that of the Latin version which contained 46 books.

The number 39 (3X13), in the same way that 73 and 37 represent 777, the number 39 is used to be a key to the number 999.
The government prior to the King James bible had laid the foundation with Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion established in 1563 which were the historic defining statements of Anglican doctrine in relation to the controversies of the English Reformation.
