COLOGNEPAULIST: Thank You, DP'ers!
Just found out accidently I have been registered as a user on the DP since a year now.
Going through an "interesting" period of my life, I'am now less often here and had to put aside for the time being the project Fellowship of the White Rose and some online and 'real world' liberty projects I have in my mind.
I have to go offline soon over the week-end, so I just can drop some lines to thank you for the friendly welcome, the sincerity and kindness I have met on this site. I've learned on this site that American patriotism is on a personal level inclusive and not exclusive, since it has been open and responsive to foreigners like me (and you know there are quite a lot of 'us' here). There is a great awareness among the people here that we are all in this together, and though this site is dedicated to restore the US constitution as it was before to promote the candidacy of Dr.Paul as US President, we are all in a gobal (anti-globalist) struggle.
Thank you especially to Michael Nystrom for starting and keeping up the DP and for his trust to make me one of the co-admins ! "Standing in your boots" (hope I got this idiom right) sometimes made me aware of how difficult, unnerving and worrying it is sometimes to be the host of this medley crowd. I wish some people here would appreciate it more!
Some of you have become online pals, and again I have to say I would like to have more time to write you. Hope this will improve in a couple of weeks, but as all of us I have to prepare myself better for the ongoing crisis.
Those who know my posts and comments are aware I'm basically an optimist, but I'm sure that Ron Paul's bit for Presidency has been the last chance for a political (real) change in the conventional sense, perhabs on a global level. The next years will see a more or less fast breakdown of our economical and political systems. We have to care for the social fabric of the communities we live in, to survive personally and with our families, and prepare to rebuild a better constiution for our people. But we mustn't become parochial and chauvinistic but be aware that there are good people everywehre.

Yes, we must always remember there ARE good people everywhere and you are an example of that to many here! You have made my world brighter just knowing you and I will write you soon! t This is indeed a global shift and it is time to prepare for ourselves and our loved ones each in our little corner of the world!
(I still smile remembering a particular chat with you at the fort when a certain discovery was made...I laughed so hard I cried!!! )

Oh Cologne!! You're such a thoughtful person -- even if you ARE
a foreigner! ;-) Makes no difference to me as I judge people by the content of their CHARACTER and nothing else (yours is off the charts in my book)! I hope you will continue to drop by here and stay in touch, and if I ever get to Germany or you come over to the States, I would LOVE to meet you in person!!! You have my email so you know how to reach me and I ALWAYS enjoy hearing from you! Perhaps I will drop you a line soon so we can catch up a bit -- I'm afraid I'm a bit guilty of not keeping up too well either but let us always stay in touch!!

I've learned alot in the 44 weeks that I've been on the DP.
I'd like to echo your sentiments. Thank you Dr Paul, thank you Michael Nystrom and thank you to my many and various mentors on here.
Colognepaulist, I understand that you need time to prepare for the upheavals going on around you, but don't be a stranger. Please let your friends on the Daily Paul know how your preparations are coming along.

It's mainly
about looking for a second and third source of income, refreshing ties with friends and family and advising them for mutual support, preparing a hide-out off the big city. If you don't have changed the assets you have to gold, silver or long-lasting products (perhabs for bartering) do so. Though it's hard to predict the time when it really starts to get nasty, it may happen soon and heavy (especially in the UK as you wrote i a post of yours recently).

I subscribe to everything you wrote! I also absolutely "fell in love" with Americans (I hardly know any besides the Paulites) and the original idea behind the USA.
I agree with you that times are going to get tough. Perhaps even more so in the US.
