UK government takes over another major bank

Gordon Brown and his band of morons have taken a controlling share in Lloyds - one of the largest banks in Britain. They already took over Royal Bank of Scotland. Wonder who's next.
If you think it's going to get bad here, Britain is going to crash like a lead ballon. And they really don't seem to get how bad these things are. That's the most troubling think about Europe - there's almost no dissenting voice. There are people angry over their personal plight, but there's almost no voice questioning the philosophy of government interventionism.
It's a scary place right now, I'm telling you.

thomasgray, are you based in the US?
You're right about the lack of dissent in Britain. Being completely disinterested in politics is almost a part of the national character. But in the LPUK, we're not taking it lying down.
