I like the focus on basic physiology. Cody Lundin seems like a very practical, level headed guy.

I think that our greatest human vulnerability is the inability to prepare for anything that hasn't happened to us personally in the past.

We can learn the easy way or the hard way. Sadly 99% of people choose the hard way.

I keep a big supply

of tall kitchen trash bags. Now I see why. Just line your toilet with them if you are trapped indoors without water pressure (think avian flu pandemic or nuclear fallout or even frozen back yard so you can't dig a latrine). I was also impressed with the need to keep more canned, ready-to-eat food on hand for when you can't just fire up the camp stove. Good interview.
