North Korea Threatens War?
NORTH Korea put its troops on alert and cut the last hotline to Seoul yesterday, as the United States and South Korean militaries began joint manoeuvres.
The Communist regime warned that even the slightest provocation could trigger war, and said that would include any attempt to interfere with its impending launch of a satellite into orbit.
US and Japanese officials suspect the launch is a cover for a test of a long-range attack missile and have suggested they might move to intercept the rocket.
"Shooting our satellite for peaceful purposes will precisely mean a war," North Korea's military said. Any interception attempt would draw "a just, retaliatory strike", it said.

My analogy
This is like the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz threatening to make war on the Pittsburgh Steelers. How are the NK's going to attack anybody when they don't have enough food to survive? How are the NK's going to attack when their supply lines are made out of bird turd? The US needs to leave these psychos alone. If they do ever harm a US citizen as a matter of government policy then we should take care of them but good. But until then, arguing with an idiot takes two parties...

N. Korea has done very horrible things to its people. A perfect example of an atheist state.
S. Korea isn't much better. I read that before the stupid war that the South Korean govt. took out and killed 10,000 of their own people who were considered to hold opinions contrary to the party line.

The state should be atheistic, in the sense that they do not promote or favor a particular religion. North Korea's problem is that they have no functioning economy and are ruled under a dictatorial personality cult.

I believe that Obama is going to get us into a dumb ass war (besides escalating Afghanistan) by trying to show the world how tough he is. This is probably the international test Biden was talking about. China increases military spending then messes with one of our ships, then North Korea launches whatever it is, we shoot it down and WWIII starts.

As a resident of Seattle I would beseech our country engage in
pre-emptive strikes rather than react to the nuclear destruction of my hometown.

Either North Korea sees our weakness and is pushing the envelope, OR maybe we are prodding them to start a new conflict, as a distraction for our citizens of the economic crisis and to attempt to use increased military action as a boost to our economy. I'm not sure, but the general theory for years from the admin. seems to be that wars bring economic growth.
