The Revolution Goes Mobile!!
HOW CAN MOBILE MARKETING HELP THE CAMPAIGN?
1) Instead of just hanging banners or flyers with "Revolution", we can add "Text REVOLUTION to 77007" where people will be able to get more information on their mobile with an automated response! We can change the response all the time. We can also have different keywords used with different banners or flyers that says, "CONSITUTION" or "FREEDOM"..."LIBERTY"...ETC..
2) We can organize the movement with INSTANT mobile communication to members according to specific zip codes for rally.
3) You can organize very big events by allowing supporters to sign up for a specific event and then you will be able to notify those members INSTANTLY about anything before, during or after the event!
4) You can have "Text RANDPAUL to 77007" at the end of online videos, like Youtube, for more information. So, instead of just providing information...they would be able to join in seconds.
5) There are seriously SO MANY CREATIVE WAYS to use this mobile technology... Let's not waste interested supporters by keeping them informed up to the local level.
6) IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER GREAT IDEAS, POST THEM HERE!
My idea is not anything original since other politicians have used it but it seems that the Revolution campaign has not utilized this powerful strategy yet...I'm talking about mobile technology. We would have a more effective campaign with it.

I own a mobile marketing company and I would like to offer my service to groups, leaders, campaign coordinators, etc. As Ron Paul supporters, I would of course cut the prices by A LOT. I intend to offer my services to the Schiff2010 and RandPaul2010 campaign as well.

As she runs for the presidency, Senator Hillary Clinton's (NY-D) latest strategy is a plan to "harness the power of text messaging."
“By harnessing the power of text messaging, we can engage voters in the political process using the latest technology and provide personalized, local campaign updates to our supporters nationwide,” Clinton said Monday at a rally in Albany, New York. “This is an exciting step forward that I hope will continue our conversation with voters in a new format.”
Clinton asked her supporters with cell phones to "raise 'em up high" and to send the word "JOIN" to the number 77007. The former first lady advised those unfamiliar with text messaging to ask for help from a "young person nearby, because they know how to do this."
After texting "JOIN," callers are told, "Thank you for joining my campaign for change!" Help build the campaign by asking EVERYONE to text JOIN to 77007."

I keep seeing these missed opportunities where I wish people had the text marketing message on their signs... It would be so much more effective?!! Who should I talk to?

In two weeks, I will be sending out my first 1000 flyers to promote my business. If some-one could come up with a one page (front only) listing the issues and sites to visit for answers, I would gladly pay for the printing and include it with my mailings. Effective Marketing
I hope people can understand how powerful mobile marketing can be if we just implemented into our campaigns... It's 100x more effective than just putting a website. I hope the Campaign for Liberty would respond...

It would definitely enhance the involvement. Plus, Ron Paul has a lot of young supporters who are very comfortable with the mobile technology.
