But just incase I facebooked Gresham Barrett tonight.

Thanks, but the lists from Ron's site and Thomas.gov are identical. They both consist of 84 co-sponsors as of Friday (I tried verifying by pasting the list into Excel). I don't know, maybe the "91" was an erroneous visual count by the webmaster.
Here's a sample of a short personal tactic I used;
Dear Congressman ____________,
You are my representative in Congress, as such, I want you to co-sponsor and support the Federal Reserve Transparency Act, H.R. 1207.
Since 1913, our dollar has lost more than 95% of its purchasing power.
HR 1207 amends section 714 of Title 31 of the U.S. Code to remove the restrictions on how the Government Accountability Office (GAO) can audit the Federal Reserve.
With these limitations gone, the Fed's discount window operations, funding facilities, open market operations, and agreements with foreign central banks and governments would all finally be open to congressional oversight.
The GAO would be required to audit the Fed by the end of 2010 and to report its findings to Congress.
Submitted by jcr@mac.com on Sun, 04/12/2009 - 05:40.
Any member of congress who doesn't vote for this bill is shirking their constitutional duty. Delegating the power to create currency is not permitted by the constitution, and auditing the federal reserve is the least they can do.

Maybe everyone's seen it but me, but now the list of cosponsors for HR 1207 has been "reset" to 55. C4L is reporting that this is due to clerical error. The only site which has the correct number of cosponsors is still Thomas, not Open Congress or Govtrack. The cosponsors no longer on the list are Keith Ellison (D-MN), Louise McIntosh Slaughter (D-NY), and Henry Waxman (D-CA). I'm guessing C4L did a little research on their own to discover the cause of this mistake, as there is no indication of the previous error on Thomas. Trust but verify...
Go to browse bills by sponsor and choose Ron Paul. HR 1207 will be one of the bills in the search results.

My second thought goes back to the impeachment act Kucinich wrote for Cheney, and Ron Paul refused to back saying something like:
"Look at all the neocons who have signed on to this. Doesn't that tell you something? It tells me that they believe they can defeat this because it is based on politics, not the constitution."
My third thought confirms what I have always thought about Ron Paul. Ron Paul is for a NWO, so the fight isn't for or against a NWO, but what kind of NWO we are going to have.
Waxman signing means it's a done deal in my book.

If your particular rep is not on the list, I would recommend you let him or her know that you feel the same way.
Pointing them to Article I, Section 8 and Article I, Section 10 of the Constitution (plain language in both) is a good method for shedding light on what it is they need to be doing if they wish to be in good standing with their Constitutional Oath.
Once pointed to this plain language, it becomes quite hard for such reps to oppose basic legislation such as HR 1207. Do they wish to mark themselves as blatant oath breakers???
My Rep added himself to this list after I mentioned the above quite basically a number of times in faxes.

this is why I shouldve voted for a GOP congress in the general election...even though the guy was a neocon rat and there was a libertarian running that cost him the election!
Although I am unhappy that Kucinich is showing his true colors yet again after his Obama betrayal, on the bright side he cant do anything but drag us down, although another D would look pretty good on that list.
