The Liberty Restoration Project (LRP) obtained a notice today that was released by the Missouri Division of Drug and Crime Control, P.O. Box 568 in Jefferson City today. This document declares that “Militia Members most commonly associate with 3rd Party political groups” indicating Congressman Ron Paul, former Congressman Bob Barr, and Pastor Chuck Baldwin to be springboards of Anti-government militia groups in Missouri. The Liberty Restoration Project views this document as defamation to a growing “Freedom Movement” that is focused on peace, freedom, civil liberty, and constitutional obedience. The Liberty Restoration Project in Kansas City is a focus group based off of many of the principles laid forth by 3rd Party leaders, including an audit and/or repeal of the Federal Reserve Banks of the United States, and many other topics that are addressed by these leaders.
The document in question is still pending a confirmation of validity, yet when representatives of the LRP have called the attached phone numbers, they have been met with confirming messages stating that they are aware of the document, and that they would have someone return a phone call. One of the reasons the LRP believes that this document is so destructive is because of Congressman Ron Paul’s Regional “Campaign For Liberty” conference in St. Louis starting on the 27th of March, 2009 which will bring in hundreds of Ron Paul supporters and “Freedom Movement” groups. The LRP believes that this is a blatant attempt to stifle liberty and a message that teaches American people what it means to be an American with a voice, and a message of peace and civil liberty. The Liberty Restoration Project is currently awaiting a response from the Division of Drug and Crime Control. The only names listed on this document come in the form of email, and the names listed are: Brandon Middleton, and Greg Hug.

Every time that the MSM
Every time that the MSM ignored or marginalized Ron Paul, his supporters just got stronger..... record breaking fund raising, and a million plus votes in the primaries. Every time the GOP pulled their shenanigans, his supporters just got stronger....we held our own Convention in Minneapolis.
If the state of Missouri wants to put us on some silly list, we'll just get stronger....we crashed the C4L website to audit the Fed yesterday. I see a pattern forming here.

One problem?
The more widely this gets distributed, the more damage it could do- to us and this Movement.
Without the knowledge and the context we've gained from hard study, the average Obama supporter (and most John McCain fans) will read this and think, "Ya, these 'Freedom People' sound like a buncha dangerous whackjobs". Just imagine how a report like this would be spun and summarized on the six-o'clock news? The "talking heads" will make us all sound like raving lunatics.
Not sure how to do it, but this needs to be answered with an intelligent and "Statesman-like" response. Since Dr. Paul was named personally, it sure would be nice if he could be the one to answer in his usual calm, factual and matter-of-fact manner.
As angry as it may make us, flying off the handle is gonna do a lotta harm and no good. It's times like this that we've gotta be smarter than they are (which shouldn't be too hard).
Statesman-like response?
In my view, the reason to resist these kinds of issues has everthing to do with Federal expansion into State and local police. There is no Constitutional authority for any type merger of resources, and it is excedingly dangerous to liberty. It is accomplished with Federal money. That is what has to stop, because it allows the Feds to dictate to local law enforcement. Eventually, it will lead to local being a subgroup of Federal enforcement. Road blocks fall within the same category.
Others can likely express this better than I, but that is the basis for response when asked.
The "why" is simple: a blatant political attempt at marginalizing opposition.

So now we know that these "Fusion Centers" are basically "hives" for the worker bees to carry out tasks.
Now, we know Janet Napolitano heads up Homeland Security, and recently visited there herself.
So, now we have 2 pieces of the puzzle.
A Department Head at Cabinet Level, and a local underling.
We can play a "whip-saw" action between these characters, to get some results.
Here's a strategy.
We confront Janet Napolitano with this in her next available public venue and demand to know if she authorized this. Maybe we can even get it done on a call-in TV show, anywhere we can.
Of course, she will deny it, and we have to get that on video.
Then, she just cut off the lifeline to the guy that did it, and threw him under the bus, and that guy will know it. Then he's alone, holding the bag.
Then we go after him with legal action, and he knows that he's been tossed by Janet Napolitano, and that will be a BIG message to anybody that works for her, that she is NOT going to back up her worker drones when they do something for her.
This is how you cut off the head of the monster.
If Janet Napolitano admits that she authorized the brochure(which she won't), then we can roast her on any number of things in the arena pf public opinion, and then we can go right to Obama, to see if he'll admit that he authorized it.
When he says he didn't, then Janet Napolitano will know she's been thrown under the bus.
When they start throwing people under the bus, sometimes they tend to start "singing". And if they "sing", then we can implicate more of them.
All 100% legal and lawful, and straight down the middle.
