Ron Paul Forums and Paid Disinformation Agents
My readers have declared their preferences. Technically, my Google Analytics stats have indicated their preferences. If people are interested in articles about Ron Paul, then I should write about his campaign more. This issue has me particularly offended. I'm writing about sabotage and Ron Paul Internet discussion forums.
It is well-known that the government plants spies in citizen activist groups. For example, in Fahrenheit 9/11, there was a story of a policeman who had been planted as a spy in a pacifist group. The people who think they control the government desire to control every activist group, even nonviolent ones.
Following the same reasoning, the government also plants spies in Internet discussion forums. Planting a spy in an Internet discussion is far easier than planting a spy in person. One person can even assume multiple identities. If spreading disinformation is your full-time job, then it's very easy, especially when your "opponents" are writing in their spare time. Another advantage of professional Internet sabotage is that several people can operate the same identity, building that identity's reputation.
As soon as a discussion forum grows beyond a certain size, it's a tempting target for disinformation agents. Political discussion groups are particularly desirable targets. The Chinese government has the wrong idea. Why ban online discussion forums, when you can infiltrate them with spies! I guess the Chinese government isn't as skilled at such sabotage as the USA; perhaps they are concerned that US-supported disinformation agents would outperform them.
Ron Paul Internet discussion forums are necessarily a high priority target for infiltration and subversion.

While to me it would seem nice to control the forum debates... Variety & discent would be a good thing in my opinion... Most people on this site would agree that the political establishment has much to gain by maintaining the status quo.
To the extent that DP or other open RP forums represent a threat to the status quo, we threaten their financial and political empire.
Considering the childish ease with which an online forum can be inundated with distracting, sensational, specious, or just plain obnoxious posts; why wouldn't They pay people to disrupt the DailyPaul?
In fact, given the stakes (a multi-trillion dollar global economy and world-wide domination) They would have to be absolute morons NOT to do so.
The only difficulty, really, is trying to distinguish the clueless yammerhead from the agent provocateur.

It's happened several times. Those of us with the "detectors" on can spot these people a mile away. Of course there's not much recourse except to make Michael aware of who they are, otherwise nothing but a forum shouting match ensues. Stay somewhat true to the message of freedom, hence using the forum for those purposes and their game will falter.

Hello all: I don't reply to much i prefer to lerk here. The reason for this question is,"To learn what have we gotten accomplished". Please i need some help understanding.

The ATF had 4 agents that lived in a house next to Mount Carmel and attended the Branch Davidian Church. David Koresh figured out that they were agents and would often ask them to stay for extra bible time. On the day of the raid, Koresh was tipped off by the local mailman that tv trucks were lost and looking for the church because the ATF had sent out a press release that there was going to be a raid and Koresh called one of the ATF plants and offered to let the the compound be searched instead of the military type raid that was planed because it was filled with women and children. The higher ups, knowing the people being raided were aware of the situation, went ahead of the raid anyway. It was billed to the press as "Operation Showtime" and we know how well that worked out.
Then we have Ruby Ridge and Randy Weaver. Randy Weaver was a separatist that just wanted to live on a mountain and not belong to any group, but the government wanted him to infiltrate a white separatist group for them. First agents befriended him, then wanted to buy a shotgun from him and offered some good money, then told him they would pay him more if he sawed it off, and when he did they arrested him but then offered to drop the charges if he would be a government informant. He ran back up to his mountain and Federal Marshals raided the compound and shot and killed his 14 year old son in the back and days later snippers shot his wife in the head and killed her as she was holding her 10 month old baby girl.
Lets look at the first bombing of the WTC in 93. The FBI had an informant Emad Salem who says in a taped conversation "we was start already building the bomb which is went off in the World Trade Center. it was built by
supervising supervision from the Bureau and the DA and we was all
informed about it and we know that the bomb start to be built."
I just point these out as the extreme and very well documented cases where the government has the inside info and refuses to use it or when they want the inside info and will punish people that will not work with them.
On a personal side I got involved in politics when I was in law school and just could not fathom how such a clear document as the Constitution could be twisted in so many ways. I got involved in Ross Perot's movement United We Stand and was a leader. I did not agree with all of what he said but at least it was a viable alternative. We were making a good headway but at every turn we took faced operatives from both of the other parties that would try and come in and take over. Truth is so many party heads started to get sued that we all left.
Thank god RON PAUL WOKE ME UP AGAIN. The truth is that in any movement that the real people start the people in control are going to send people to spreed disinformation. That is a fact given. What we have to do is judge the information that is given to us. Pick out what is fact about what our government is trying to create and ask where in the Constitution dose it give them that power? We are not a country based on the fact that government granted us limited powers but we the people granted the government limited power.
How is it that hey have a right to pick and by force make anyone a spy and not even act on good information when people get killed and still spend money on spying on us? Trying to control us? The fact is most do not even know of the death count and they think they are starting something new. Truth is this fight has been going on for a long time and the people in power have been working at a plot to create evil doers in you mind. The "them" is out to get you and you must place all full faith in government to save you.

Sometimes I just have to laugh, even though it's so sad. Amazing, how OUR OWN MONEY is being used to drive the very policies which are doing us (USA) so much harm. Our tax money is used as a carrot/stick (ie "aid" / military) to make the countries of the world do what "we" want. We freakin steal their natural resources. Just like our tax money is basically used to manipulate we the population, in the form of "do this and you'll get aid", or "do this or your taxes will be higher". And our tax money goes to make the weapons that will control the world and also prevent us for fighting (or maybe just prevent us from winning) in our fight for liberty and freedom. Rebember how the iron curtain DID fall, though ... they can only the control the population for so long ... when we get sheer numbers, we can overcome.

I never knew what a "troll" was until I came to the DP.
It would not surprise me if there were paid disinfo agents, and antagonists.
I liken the DP to some adults sitting around the living room having an intelligent discussion after dinner.
Occasionally someone comes out of the kitchen and sits down, and starts asking genuinely curious, legitimate questions.
In this case, I am willing to share what I know with them, or get them pointed in the right direction.
But more often than not, you have toddlers come into the room with a stinky diaper, making lots of noise, and trying to climb in your lap with their soggy load.
They are not interested in the discussion, other than who is going to pay attention to them, change their soiled diaper, or spoonfeed them.
