I wouldn't call this positive, but imagine that something has touched a nerve.

I more of a conspiracy of idea's guy, and the Politico article is a little snarky, but the fact that they mention this is truly interesting.

When I lived and worked in New York City, I had a good friend (who shall remain unidentified) who worked at Business Week. I had read "The Creature from Jeckyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin, and he explains in detail how the FED was created.

But when I brought this up to my Business Week friend, he didn't believe it. He thought the FED was part of the U.S. Government and its role was to control the money supply. I haven't talked with him for many years, but it doesn't matter.

What does matter is that the FED, the Bilderburg Group, and other similar organizations are being exposed to the light of scrutiny. These are private institutions who control the destiny of billions of people. Worse, they account to nobody. For years they operated in secret and nobody paid much attention. But now, when the poo is hitting the fan, the FED, the Bilderburgers and the CFR (among others) are drawing attention to themselves; they have made a mess of things and now their feet are being held to the fire.

Credit Ron Paul for his unrelenting attacks on the FED, on the various administrations who populate the staff - and other important positions - with 'made' guys: members of the CFR, the Trilateral Commission, or some other Rockefeller-backed group.

This is all to the good. The only question remaining is: will this scrutiny have any effect? Frankly, I don't think so. I don't know what it would take to bring down any of the above institutions, but I don't see it happening any time soon. Sorry. Truly.

to see this was also posted on AOL. AOL also has a poll for this story - only 29 % have ever heard of Bilderberg but I find it encouraging that 70% find it suspicious.

This is now out there and we don't have to preface mention of the Bilderberg Group with any comments relating to the likelihood of it's existence. (This comment refers to an earlier one about this now being accepted as fact. Somehow ended up here, despite clicking "reply")
