Obama Presidency is OverSubmitted by D4L on Tue, 03/17/2009 - 03:08
Wow, just found this great article on digg!
President Obama is officially done for. Right now, Americans are apologizing to the rest of the world for electing the idiot. Congress has slipped a rope around his neck, and he is officially no more powerful than any other whining liberal.
First, despite claims to the contrary, Obama isn’t popular. President Bush in his first term was more popular and less detested than Obama. This is before 9/11, mind you.
Second, his economic policies are a disaster. No one—no one!—is supporting his positions. Even the democrats in congress are backing away from his extremism. Every economic proposal is roundly rejected by the opinion polls and Americans in general. Even if President Obama adopted every platform of Reaganomics, I doubt anything would change in the market. We are, right now, descending into another Great Depression. It’s already happening, and I doubt anything can be done to stop it. Any recovery is going to take years, not months, and perhaps even a decade or more.
Third, he has ruined the reputation of his administration and tarnished the reputation of the American system of government internationally. Right now, the Brits are wondering how it is possible that a single American president can be more offensive than the entirity of the population of America. The Russians are laughing at the absolute absurdity of the State Department’s attempt’s to negotiate. Hugo Chavez, a certified basket case, thinks he has found his long-lost socialist brother in Obama. Israel and Iran are going to duke it out no matter what Obama says. Obama was supposed to heal our reputation in the international scene. Instead, he has signalled to the rest of the world that whatever happens, the US is not going to be a leader of anything since we are too stupid to even play the international politics game.
Fourth, he has lost all credibility with the American voters, right and left alike. Whenever he speaks, both sides of the aisle know that he is lying. The left believes his fiscally conservative is a lie, the right knows it is a lie, and the middle has come to know it is a lie as well. President Obama is a liar, and everyone knows it and isn’t afraid to admit that to themselves. All the facts Obama cites are a lie, all the positions he claims to hold is a lie, all the plans he claims to plan on executing are a lie. It’s really hard to find anything he’s said in the past about his plans and intentions that is true. George Bush might’ve lied about uranium in a State of the Union address, but everyone knows that everything Obama says is a lie. That’s a world of difference.
The conclusion is that the country hasn’t changed. No, it’s just that the republicans picked the wrong guy, and the voters took the Republican Party to the woodshed for a thorough beating.
