Is the government opening anybody else's mail?

Could be coincidence but who knows. Did this happen to anybody else?

Yes. Just rec'd a piece of mail from the Campaign yesterday (I live in CT) and it was wide open also. Unbelievable!
Contact the United States Postal Inspection Service
It is a federal crime to open (tamper with) the mail of anyone other than by the person that it is addressed to. I have a friend who is a US Postal Inspector and he assures me they will investigate and prosecute anyone who tampers with US mail.

yes. Wife tells me fairly often mail has been opened before we get it, even when it hasn't been delivered to the neighbors first! Not All mail, but enough that it feels commonplace.

2 years or so.
I thought it was squirrels getting into the mailbox ...
but maybe it's a conspiracy !
