ALERT! The Give Act HR 1388

On paper, H.R. 1388 is the “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act”; the more innocuous sounding “The Give Act”, for short. But “The Give Act” is not part of Obama’s distant future for unsuspecting American citizens, because it hits the House floor tomorrow.

Oxymoron: Mandatory Volunteer
Because of the mandatory involvement of all German youth from 1936 to 1945, it became necessary that adults who were children during that time not be looked down upon in later years. Almost an entire generation of future German leaders was made to join the Hitler Youth and there was little way to decipher if they wanted to be involved or had to be involved due to their age. The young age of the Hitler Youth also made it difficult to prosecute any of them for war crimes that they may have done because it is difficult to hold a child accountable for something they have been indoctrinated to do.

Every time I turn around, I see another bill introduced with a clever acronym. Well dammit- I'm going to see to it that we are not outdone. I have a few of my own.
It all started when a heinous embezzlement plot was uncovered, known as the Discretionary Injection of Capital into Kashkari Slush funds bill. or DICKS act.
This, combined with the increased oppression of the American people, will spark creation of the Termination of White house Acts of Terrorism bill of 2009, or TWAT.
This bill will be sponsored and enforced by the Freedom fighter And Revolutionaries Task force, aka (FART).
Hmm, maybe I should run for office- I could be on to something here.

Mike Church was up in arms
talking about this bill on Sirius/XM this morning - I haven't heard any other media covering it. (Nothing to see here)
It's pretty much just the bill that will institute Raum Emmanuel’s mandatory national service program. I’m not sure how it can be considered volunteering when it appears individuals will be paid for their mandatory service. I guess if people get paid they can't claim to be slaves of the government.
It also “Authorizes the Corporation to treat September 11th annually as a National Day of Service”

Sorry for the delayed response Tom - just got home from work.
I listen to the King Dude every morning on my commute. I’m surprised more don’t bring up his name at the DP; I guessing a lot haven’t heard his show. I absolutely think he’s come a long way – though I believe he was a major closet RP supported from the beginning of the campaign. I think he kept his RP support on the down low because of heat he was getting from his Rhino listeners. I’ve noticed he hardly ever talks about foreign policy lately because I think he has seen the light and doesn’t want to get kicked by the wayside by his “conservative” followers.
If it weren’t for Mike Church I’d have cancelled my sirius subscription a year ago.
