SSNs for my children?
Wow!
What a surprise. I just called the "DHS/SSN" (same authority now) about them sending both my children (Sienna -13mons) and Kyle (1 mon) Social Security cards and numbers. I told them I did not want them to have SSN at this time because of numerous reasons, such as their age, having to safe-guard it, etc. It is my thinking that because they don't need it until they start their first job, they shouldn't need it. I don't want to have their number stolen like mine. I don't want to have to guard their numbers for the next 16/17yrs. Currently I have had 3 bank accts raided because of a stolen military ID card that had my SSN. Thankfully I keep all of my money in LLCs that can't be easily traced back to me.
The lady informed me that I had to have SSNs for them to attend school, receive health insurance, and to claim them on my taxes.
To these things I responded: I plan on "home-schooling", the illegals receive free health care in my state at the emergency rooms of hospitals, and that I don't care about claiming my children on taxes because I already have enough write-offs.
She then went to check with her supervisor about REVOKING the SSN and came back and told me "That is not possible, once the number is issued their is no undoing it."
So - there you have it. We are all born into the TAX-SLAVE system, so the Govt can float bonds on our "persons".

"I recently tried to open a bank account with my local bank, and when they asked for a SSN, I informed them that I didn't have one. They flatly refused and said that without a SSN that they absolutely could NOT open an account of any kind.

Correct and if you write Social Security and ask them what law is there "REQUIRING" me or my child to get a social security number, they can't give you one and they will write you back and say, ' There is no law requiring you to obtain a social security number however, you will find it difficult to obtain a driver's license or bank account without a social security number.'
And now, under new "tax" laws, you can't claim your children on your taxes unless your children have sssn. Funny, that law wasn't around until recently.

.... you would be depriving them of the opportunity to voluntarily participate in the income tax. It seems although the law establishing the income tax describes the tax as voluntary, statutory law decrees an individual volunteers by signing up for the social security system.
Now you see
how the globalists have taken over everything. When my grandparents drove a car, they had no driver's license. My parents got a driver's license and I never had a "birth certificate" until I wanted to go into the military, then I was forced to get one. I never had a sssn until I was 17. Back then HRS didn't exist and orphanages and churches stepped up to the plate.
Now - when a child is born they push documents on you in the hospital to sign your child over to the state through birth certificates. When you get a birth certificate , by law, you make your child a ward of the state and the state can FORCE you to do certain things with your child (immunization, sssn, approved schools, etc) if you refuse, HRS can take your child away because the child is a ward of the state. They use to record births and deaths in Bibles and Bibles are legal documents for proof of birth, look at your requirements for getting a passport - a family Bible is accepted.
Yes you can rescind SSSN , birth certificates, etc, but it is best to never get them in the first place. Far too long has America been brainwashed into accepting whatever "government" tells you. You are responsible for your own provisions and actions.

Your child
is not a ward of the state unless you and your spouse obtained a marriage license. The marriage license is a contract and gives the state the right to your children, a product of the union.

I will be revoking their SSN numbers as soon as I find/research the way.

great but there have been so many frauds out there who have sold information to make a buck and many people have found themselves in jail or paying fines because they listened to "someone" on how to correct these issues.
yworry1979 - always check the law and if you don't know it, ask someone with a track record. Even when it comes to an "attorney", ask that attorney- how many cases did you have last year? If I check the record, how many will I find that you won? Then ask yourself if those odds are acceptable to you. Chances are, they will not be acceptable.
The law is clear, if you have a contract, you are obligated. Is there a remedy? Yes, but use lawful remedies.

The SSN is NOT required for health insurance. My son has no SSN and has been covered for years on my plan. He only needs a SSN if he pays himself, and he doesn't.
As far as revoking, there is one exception, and that is if the SSN is issued and the parent either didn't ask for it or the consent was implied but not granted. It happened with my kids because the state Vital Records Dept. screwed up when filing his birth certificate request, checked the box for SSN automatically on their computer when we said NO, and then SSA polled the DB and issued a card. I got the card, said, "WTF?" and traced the problem back to the state, who compared their copy of the BC request to my original, found they matched, and they called SSA to reverse the mistake.
Yes, we had a home birth, and the midwife got the paperwork right. The state screwed up by only skimming the form.
As for the taxes, big deal. Not claiming a child on the 1040 means no more than $360 more in tax due (not assuming EITC). My dogs cost more than that and I can't claim them as dependents, either, showing it's a shallow deduction.

there are ways to go about getting rid of your number...or not getting one in the first place. I have friends I know who have had home births, and by using the proper paperwork and writing certain letters they're kids don't have numbers. That person you talked to doesn't know what they are talking about, they have to tell you its irrevocable otherwise they lose their cushy government job. Look up the literature on this, there is ways...

All three of my children have no SSN's
and all three were born in a hospital--when they ask about an SSn, we just tell them, we'll take care of that ourselves!

You may find help at this site, too, although it takes a lot of effort to read through the information in order to decide if you even qualify to use their materials. Especially for an editor like me who wants to rewrite the whole thing in a more succinct manner. :-) Worth it in my opinion. I received the link from a wonderful patriot in WA who has been at this for a long, long time. There is a lot of material from this ministry about how to start living without that number (and the similar number in Canada).
