Subject: Stop MONSANTO backed legislation!
PLEASE FORWARD
Write your Representatives and Senators today to vote against:
Food Safety Modernization Act (HR 875)
House H.R. 875 http://www.govtrack .us/congress/ bill.xpd? bill=h111- 875
Senate S 425 http://www.govtrack .us/congress/ bill.xpd? bill=s111- 425
There is an enormous rush to get this into law within the next two weeks before people realize what is happening (called Fast Track, as in AETA).
Main backers: Monsanto, Cargill, Tyson, ADM
What else do you need to know once you know who the main backers are?
This Bill will require organic farms to use specific fertilizers and poisonous insect sprays dictated by the newly formed agency to "make sure there is no danger to the public food supply".
If this passes then NO more heirloom clean seeds will be allowed, only Monsanto genetically altered seeds that are now causing unexpected diseases in humans.

On March 11 a new documentary was aired on French television (ARTE - French-German cultural tv channel) by French journalist and film maker Marie-Monique Robin, The World According to Monsanto - A documentary that you won't see on American television.
The gigantic biotech corporation Monsanto is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity which has served mankind for thousands of years.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." ~ Margaret Mead
Monsanto is trying to monopolize the food supplies.
They have bought up seed companies then genetically modified the seeds.
Then they get a patent on the GMO's or Genetically Modified Organisms.
Then they destroy and burn the original seeds so that they can control the food supplies.
Anyone see that move with Arnold Schwartznegger "Total Recall"
When he got to Mars they controlled the air supply.
Well that is how they plan to control us by controlling the food supply.
This bill they are trying to pass will destroy organic farming and create a monopoly for the big boys.
So don't be fooled by this giy who says it only applies to interstate commerce!

This only applies to Interstate Commerce
While even that still makes a bad bill, there is NOTHING in that bill that specifically targets organic farming, nor FORCES them to stop using organic methods.
There is ZERO amount of words in that bill dedicated to criminalizing organic farming practices, and ZERO with respect to heirloom seeds.
It just isn't there. Oh sure, you could interpret the power to do so INTO it, but that doesn't mean it is in fact there, or that this is the intent of the bill.
In fact, it's this perpetual lack of knowledge and understanding and refusal to READ THE LAW, and automatically assume that it applies to EVERYONE, that is the problem.
How can we make the case that the Federal government is out of control and that they don't follow the constitution, when so many people REFUSE to see that very few laws are unconstitutional?
The problem isn't how the law is written, it is how people ASSUME it applies to people it doesn't apply to. Just because a law says "all" or "persons" doesn't mean EVERY HUMAN in the U.S. It usually means a very small subset of 'every human.' (and sometimes, not even natural people at all)
Learn to read the law and realize that Congress ONLY has power in this regard with respect to INTERSTATE commerce, and thus that is how this bill will be interpreted and enforced by the courts.
If you persist in insisting on following the assumption and presumption that Congress has such a power, and that the law does apply to intrastate farming, then you are CREATING the presumption in the minds of the public and the enforcers, that this law DOES apply to those areas, when in fact it DOESN'T.
We all need to take responsibility for our government run amok. A large part of that is our own lack of understanding of what the law says, and doesn't say, and what it absolutely can't say if it is to pass constitutional muster.
Otherwise, we stand on quicksand when we walk into court, and the feds will increase their draconian hold over us.
Break the cycle.
Do the homework.
Stop passing on sensationalism if you don't know first hand what you are talking about.
I used to be of the impression that most of our problems would be solved if we put the Federal Government genie back into the Constitutional bottle. The real problem is ignorance on the part of the people. Most laws are NOT unconstitutional, and they aren't because they are very LIMITED in scope.
But all to often, people ASSUME the law applies to them, and so they think they have to follow it, and they try to do so. This creates HUGE distortions in the market. And is the real cause of most of our problems, not the law, but our ignorance of it.
To be sure, Congress may THINK it has power to affect everyone, but that is only because we ignorant citizens never challenge them on it, and the longer it goes on, the harder it is to do so.
It will have a "ripple" affect and embolden the toxic trends.
GROUND CONTROL
Lose your property for growing food?
Big Brother legislation could mean prosecution, fines up to $1 million
Monsanto is one toxically entrenched corporation.
I say no to pesticides.
The NWO will entrench the use of pesticides.
Small family farms want to use non toxic methods in stewardship of the land, provide jobs and feed the world.
Every time we pass a rule or a law or a regulation to make the world a better place, it seems like what we do is subsidize production offshore.
The longer we allow the NWO think tanks to figure things out, we are quickening our journey to a toxic world and more mass extinctions.
"Have you seen any bees lately?"
And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”
When Monsanto and Big Agra supports it....
I question it.....I read between the lines and I suspect it!
It is a slippery slope indeed when these huge Big Agra corporations get behind something so seemingly innocuous as this bill. Then I begin to smell a rat!
I will support anything these companies support with regard to our food supply....when pigs fly!

This should be one of the real priority #1s for this movement.
Let's keep the freedom train rolling.
