We should infiltrate Glenn Beck's 912 project
It seems like Glenn Beck inadvertently made our job a little easier by creating his new website: www.the912project.com.
He seems to have created a great venue for us to spread our message to a very large ripe audience through the many meetup groups organizing across the country and through his website.

I'm thinking we should all go to our local 912 meetups and talk to the people there. We could answer a lot of their questions and direct them to some great videos online and great books to read. We could also get them to sign up to the Campaign for Liberty.
We could use his 912project as a tool to educate millions of people.
We should milk this thing as much as possible.

The Beck folks are wary of being infiltrated. They know something is wrong. Our approach has been to keep them in the loop on local politics. They seem to dislike the Republicans and Democrats. I would stress to them that you can oppose the war and support the troops. They also aren't with us on the drug issue. I tell them prohibition doesn't work. In short they think they are awake, but they are sleep walking.

Why can't we see eye to eye on the things we and Beck agree on and leave the other stuff off the table. And why oh why would you use such words as infiltrate. I am a member of my local 912 group and a leader of our small group. The main area that I disagree with Beck is on War. He is a blow em up, the more the merrier kind of guy. I just leave that off the table and talk about the things I do agree with. I no longer have a grudge agaist Beck because he didn't promote him during the election, and yes I've seen the crazy town mayor videos, I also seen the one where he had Ron Paul on for two segments and Beck said "I could kiss you"...
If we can't work together in the areas we see eye to eye, we will self destruct.

This isn't about Beck, per se.. it is about likeminded people in your area. We don't have to agree on all the issues, just agree that real change is needed.

Beck will tend to say something good, but then the next day he just reverts and forgot he said it.
You know, I'm mostly ambivalent toward Beck.
I don't think he's "one of us", but I also don't think he's the Great Satan. But he is very good at doing one thing: Getting attention. And our threads on him pretty much confirm that. If he ever grows up, he might be a force for good, but right now I see him in much the same light as people like Michael Savage and Mark Levin.
If he would apologize to the people in this movement for his accusations and attempts to depict us as 'crazies', that would go a long way with me.

WE too have to take off our blinders. If Glenn Beck accused Ron Paulers of being crazies...well... that's exactly what you're accusing him to be. So let's not be hypocrites. WE must stop the cycle. And that includes forgiveness.
Now... as far as Glenn Beck, I know him and he's not a crazy. He is honest in heart and he is doing the best he knows how with the knowledge he has. He has read The 5,000 Year Leap - a MUST for anyone calling themselves American. Have you read it? No one can nor should say a word about him or our nation or government, unless they have read and completely understood that book!
We have to unite with him - not in a sneaky way - but in a friendly, forthright way.
He has started something matched only by the Tea Party movement. Campaign for Liberty is great, but it is backed by Ron Paul in the eyes of the nation - it is a political thing. What the people perceive is greater than what actually is sometimes. The 912 project and the Tea Party are not political, they are grass-roots in the people's perception. THAT makes all the difference. At least to the people.
WE MUST LIVE VIRTUOUS AND MORAL LIVES IN ORDER TO TURN THIS NATION AROUND. Anything short of that will be a waste of time and insufficient. You can mark my words on that one.
Glenn Beck IS one of us, he's just doing it within the parameters he knows and understands best - Talk Radio. And hey - it's working... he's getting the nation rallied up!
Give him your support and take off your own blinders and shake off your own pride. If we join forces we can make a difference.

With all the stuff going on in the Government- we were about to scream and a lot of people didn't know what to do- or how to fight effectively. People were on the blogs talking about getting their guns an fighting the government, for heavens sake! He just showed us how to channel our anger so we have a voice that D.C. will pay attention to. He calmed us down and let US find our way to be more effective. With the administration we have now- we better all band together to straighten things out- or there may not be another election! And if we get it right- there may actually be a demand for a 3rd party candidate- not a rejection of one! They (the media and 2 party system) wouldn't be able to blow Ron Paul off like they did in 08! We wouldn't let them. Start getting ready for the NEXT election....we are.

Hey, you guys have it wrong!
I have not been to this site in a while- but I am a member. I like Ron Paul, and wanted to vote for him. So did my son. He represents more what I want in government than anyone I've ever heard of. A lot of us feel that way- and we are members of Glenn Beck's project 912 movement.
Our group just did an email campaign for "Campaign for Libery" in our area. They needed help and we were glad to. We also needed some help to get the word out to people in our state about "State Sovereignty" legislation we had in our senate. They helped us with emails of support too. There are a lot of Ron Paul supporters in my group of about 400- and nobody cares.
As far as Glenn Beck goes- he just gave us ordinary people a chance to start our own grass-roots movement. Each group has it's own rules, own direction. The only reason we did not tell you about our Tea Party Rally is because we ARE amatuers and are just now learning how to do things. You can join our group- I belong to both. I will do anything I can to stop the Constitution from being destroyed. Come help us! And if you need help with a campaign- find the "We surround them" meet up groups in your area, and contact the organizer. They will post the message- or you can post it yourself.
Saying we are different- or doing something you should infiltrate...lmao- that's like saying your local weatherman is out to ruin the Meterological Center! We are part of the same movement!
I personally hope you DO join- We'd be glad for someone with organizational skills and ideas! We are just ordinary people looking for a way to fight this 2 party system! I like the work we do- at both groups! :>)

One of my first memories of Beck
was a time I was just thumbing through channels and stoped to listen to him ranting about Nazi Germany. He had a picture of an octopus with a stereotypical image of a semetic person as its face, its arms were such that is was encompassing the world. Beck went on to state that the picture was from 1938 and it was clearly meant to inflame hatred towards Israel. If I'm not mistaken the State of Israel didn't exist in 1938. This is just one of the ways these self appointed moral guardians have to twist facts to meet their own ends. We should learn to use these guys in just as hypocritical a way that they attempt to use everyone else.

Here in our state, our activists were not contacted in regards to last Friday's event and we have been on the front line of this struggle for well over two years now. I urge caution when working with these groups. We need to investigate the latest Tea Parties to determine if moles in the neocon movement are attempting to infiltrate our groups.

My son is a Ron Paul supporter too. He doesn't understand the Tea Party Movement either- but that's cause he won't check it out. If you guys would have found the local "meetup- we surround you" website and told us you wanted to come- we would have been thrilled! We really AREN'T run from the top down- we all do our own thing. There is no RIGHT party to belong to in our groups. Right now my group is trying to get them to open up the Primary election in our state so Independents can vote in the primary. We do things like that. At least the group I'm in does. For you guys to think you have to infiltrate...come on! lol Just come on in...we are already in it! Even Glenn Beck is a Libertarian! We definitly need to talk about how the Patriot Act and the Afghanistan/Iraq police actions are unConstitutional, and how they bring more harm to our freedoms and liberty, rather than protect us. And, IF there was a real 'War on Terror', we would have military on the borders and they would be CLOSED.
