Is America's apathy being engineered via anti-depressants and mood elevators?
There are many liberty-minded people who are frustrated and confounded by people's unconcern about the direction of our country. I have two sisters who had cancer, chemo therapy and are now on either Paxel or Zoloft. After seeing changes in their personality as well as clouded thinking, it occurred to me that they are probably apathetic because they are constantly drugged up.
A pharmacist friend told me yesterday, the use of anti-depressants is running rampant with up to ONE-THIRD of the population now on some type of mood altering medication. While I am aware of the theories of fluoridation and chemtrails, I am beginning to wonder if something more deliberate and sinister is afoot.
From Eustice Mullins, I've learned of Rockefellers' control of the medical industry including its research and college curriculum. Therefore, I am beginning to wonder if America's apathy is being carefully engineered via "don't worry - be happy" medication.

It's not the drugs, it's the Standard American Diet. SAD
SAD creates the need for the drugs. Most of the processed factory food American diet is absolute crap. I should know. I was on assorted antidepressants for 23 long, hellish years. Anxiety disorder, dontcha know? Depression, dontcha know? My doctors told me so. My "guided by the AMA doctor gods" told me so. Pills were the only thing that would help. Oh yeah, and LOTS of psychotherapy. Lots and lots of expensive psychotherapy. Let's delve into your childhood. But not one of those idiots ever wanted to discuss diet.
Well, I thought I was eating a relatively healthy diet. The FDA told me it was healthy. HFCS, caffeine, aspartame, Splenda, hydrogenated oil, MSG, whatever hormones Monsanto wants to throw in there, etc. etc. etc. The brain can only take just so much ill nutrition. The more bad food we eat, the worse we feel, mentally and physically, and then the more drugs doctor god can sell to us. Big Pharma loves "doctor god".
So, after 23 years of hell, I got lucky and finally met someone, (not a doctor), who knew a little bit about a truly healthy diet. I finally had hope. She had been diagnosed with Discoid Lupus, and was told by her doctor gods that the situation was hopeless. But, she was able to cure herself by changing her SAD diet!! Here is her story.

Anyway to make a long story short, after 23 years of hell, I decided I had to get serious about my health, and I cleaned up my diet. And it was not easy. I had to quit all the goodies I had grown to love and had become addicted to. For me, quitting caffeine was the most difficult, but the biggest thing that helped. I finally no longer need antidepressants. And most of my diet now is fresh, organic, raw fruits, vegetables and nuts. The body and mind need good whole nutrition to function properly.
I think it is a combination of things!

People are also electronically programmed to what they eat. The more electronic programming, the more unhealthy diet... I don't think it's a coincidence. You have a garden, it takes time, work... no time for those TV programs telling you about the latest pizza...

Diet sodas and energy drinks .
We know about aspartame but who really knows the effects of those caffeine bombs or what all those ingredients are ? Just colas in themselves are probably the leading cause of obesity . I mean you are basically drinking liquid sugar with whatever else . I never really liked pop and have avoided it for most of my life. I also never put sugar in anything.

Lack of exercise is the leading cause of obesity.
Not to say that sodas are "healthy"--they aren't.
But people are always speculating on what the culprit is, taking a diet-based view. I think it's pretty obvious. In the 70s and 80s, we had cheeseburgers, fries, and sodas just like today, but much of the adult population was either ingesting metabolic stimulants (tobacco), jogging, bicycling, or working out in a gym. The population was much thinner then.
The population today is much more physically inactive.
If you're physically inactive enough, you can get fat eating a diet approved by the American Heart Association.

Yes I agree , I've never seen a generation of kids who spend
so much time in front of some type of media , TV ,Computer, Games etc.
Parents as well.
I used to play hockey on the street when I was a kid, we used to go dirt biking, ride our bikes around just for something to do , we used to leave the house and actually do stuff. Now I carry lumber and drywall around. I am usually surrounded by people who climb on houses all day so there aren't any fat people.
Then I go into any city and see it and i can't believe anyone could ever be that huge , let alone the amount of food it would take to maintain that type of weight.

Well, sounds like the life
Well, sounds like the life for most of those children and adults (which we are) is just as predictable. Japan was going through the same crap back in 80's. People, especially young generation loosing interest for adventure and romance, for exploration and friendship. Everything is labeled, tagged with price and timed in schedules in our world. That's create that strange feelings of uncomfortability and uselessness.
Another words - there is almost nothing big to dream of. Make money, watch baseball/football and remember that the thing that you're just dreamed of yesterday was already bout by someone's reach daddy or discovered, cataloged and filmed on tv. There are limits everywhere and walls are closing in.
Twisted observation
I hope you are the greatest brother to your sisters real suffering in the real world, and just venting steam in the virtual world, our electronic world, computer, TV, radio, the white noise drives anyone insane and why they sell medication to combat the pains of electronic programming.
I bet finding out that one has cancer is a REAL bummer. Both sisters?! That's tragic and a heavy burden I hope if lifted from your family, if not by medication, by God's will they will both go into permante remission.
I want to ask you, if not medication, what can your sisters do to give them some relief as the cancers attack their emotional, intellectual and phyical health?

You have to KEEP ur body clean and healthy as much as you can before "lightning" sparks. And when it comes - go off with grace.

I'm sure of it , none of the people I know who are aware of what
is really happening in the world do any drugs. The people I know that do prescriptions are just basically floating along in life with very little direction and they tend to debate me on everything citing TV news as their reality.
An over the counter muscle relaxer once in a while after a hard day but that's it.

My point is that you, as a moderator, can 'fix' anything you want, AFTER you have posted it.
If you want to, you can completely change a post, to totally alter what was originally posted.
And a non-moderator can't !
I ran into the same thing with another moderator. They modified what I said, and changed what they said, and, in the end, it was a complete distortion.
I have said things ( we probably all have ) which I wish I could change, or take back, but I can't.
We all need to say what we mean, and mean what we say, and let it stand !
Or we should all be able to modify, after the fact, what we have posted.

there is a button which says "edit" and you just fix your own error. Right?
