Even the feds think we are terrorists.
Even the Federal Government Thinks We Are Terrorists

After I wrote that blog on the MIAC report revealing what the State of Missouri considered “terrorist” characteristics, Mark Carroll sent me an email telling me that this didn’t begin with Missouri. The Department of Justice and the FBI issued a report back in 1999 called “ Project Megiddo” that pretty much stated the same nonsense that the MIAC report did.
Here’s a PDF of the report: http://www.constitution.org/y2k/megiddo.pdf
By the way, since the Second Amendment grants citizens the right to bear arms in order to form a militia to defend themselves against a tyrannical Federal Government (and you thought the Second Amendment was about personal defense–shame on you), I actually think it is a good sign that the Feds are starting to fear the sprouting up of their enemies: the Militias.

militias
There is nothing wrong with militia membership.
But I would want to be in one that had the blessing of the state I lived in so that IF there ever was a confrontation, you would have some semblance of legality and legitimacy rather than risk being labeled as terrorists.
Theres nothing wrong with militias that arent state supervised, except the risk that they may do something that hurts the cause.
The snake only strikes when trod upon, right? we must let the fed be the initiator of any violence.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants
With the ultimate purpose of a Militia being
the means by which the People reign in a government turned to tyranny, I can't imagine it would ever receive the "Blessing of the state". The Militia, as defined by the Constitution, represents the last line of defense against a government run amock.
By its nature, the existence of the Militia represents an uneasy and ever-vigilent balance of power. The feds seek to be absolute- They don't like anything that (even potentially) offsets their influence.
Prepare to see an increasing smear campaign on the "whack-job" Militas along with any other form of dissension. Disagree in any way and you become the enemy of "change".
All dissent will be marginalized,
forcing the masses to go along with the program so as not to be negatively labeled.

I read it and it really
I read it and it really doesn't describe what I would consider the typical Ron Paul supporter. I don't think we talk about armageddon and site the bible all over the place. If that makes you a terrorist, then maybe they should be investigating a lot of Huckabee supporters. We do stand for the golden rule, but shouldn't everyone?
We also don't tolerate Jew bashing. We truthfully criticize the Israel government policies and lobbying influence, but we criticize a lot of foreign countries as well. It may appear that we single out Israel because they happen to have the most influence. That is all.
The New World Order stuff is true. Yeah, we don't want it.
How many of you were scared of Y2K? That was silly.
Very Interesting:
Thanks. I have read some of it and saved it for further reading. It looks real interesting.

I knew it.
I predicted this would come out. It's Project Megiddo--it's coming from the Executive Branch.

Ya know Kevin,
that Project Megiddo name is interesting.
And they seem to have reasons for picking these names.
"Har-Megiddo" is often cited as the what the actual spelling of "Armageddon" is supposed to be.
On the mountains above Megiddo.
