Here's a way to practice civil disobedience...
Turn your license plate upside down
This isn't my idea. I think I saw it as a comment on YouTube. In the same way that flying an American flag signals of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property, turning our license plates upside down signals the same thing economically.

I'm not mocking your post at all, believe me. I had to smile inside when I thought about about the idea you presented. Maybe if every single driver in a given state flipped his rear plate over at th same time… Think of the possibilities.

Not a good idea
Most states have a law or ordinance on how license plates are to be displayed. You will just get a ticket or fine or worse.
There are much better things you can do with you time and money..

In the year and a half that
In the year and a half that I have been touting my RonPaul stuff, I've only been pulled over once and that was for a faulty tail light. The officer let me go telling me that he had 'bigger fish to fry'. Even to this day I still get lots of thumbs-up and even still occasionally see people snap pictures with their cell phone.

I ran into a local, older gent on oxygen with a Vietnam Vet Navy hat on....with a really nice navy blue PT Cruiser with a similar verse painted on the back end of his car! We chatted in the parking lot of the local grocery car and wow did this man have background and the brights! To him, Ron Paul was the only answer to our country's problems.

Check the codes for your state. It may be legal. Of course, then it's not civil disobedience.
In California we recalled our last governor for proposing a motor vehicle tax increase.
Be careful what you wish for. His replacement is worse.

im in the same boat. ,my state just doubled registration fees. registration plus late due fees is 380 and plus i owe 150 in parking tickets.
