pretty cool
-I wish I had that much room for a garden, and southern California weather.
They have about a tenth of an acre of arable land.
I found their house on google maps. Tiny, tiny, property.
Yes, their weather is better than yours, but that doesn't mean you don't have usable planting months.
These people are ASTOUNDING!

Food Warehouse Credits Instead of Money
We can work together locally to create our own food supply - warehouses issuing credits for food grown within the neighborhood. We then trade those credits with neighbors who will use them to buy food at the warehouse.
Beware
of fractional reserve food warehousing receipts. It's a lot easier to screw this up with food than with other, less variable production commodities.

In 2001, a two page spread on the Dervaes family of Pasadena,
appeared in the L.A. Times newspaper . . . . it was inspiring.
Majestic message and guidance for our world. It is visions like this video that give me a place to begin from . . . .
" . . . . and at the end of the journey, you return, and see your home for the first time."
We have to push back pesticides. Worldwide. So, no to Monsanto. The disregard for nature is what I despise about the world scene, but I think the world is seeing . . . . that we're killing it for a hamburger and fries.
Anais is looking forward to a homesteading future, growing a garden, rearing children, having fruit trees, and sharing her life with a like-minded "pioneer" in the lifestyle she loves.
