I (Bryon) was contacted by Major Replogle who is in charge of Missouri’s Criminal Patrol, and oversees the MIAC. He called me on behalf of the Governor to discuss the Modern Militia Movement document. It was a great conversation and he assured me that the intent of the report was to educate police officers, officer safety and alert them of new trends. He also acknowledged that some of the wording could have been better, but that they (MIAC and MO) stand firmly behind this document. I asked him if it would be possible to have a retraction of the document, and he informed me that it was never meant for the eyes outside law enforcement and the officer who leaked the document violated the law. He also reminded me that they are standing firmly behind the document.
On behalf of the Liberty Restoration Project, I offered to bring a team of liberty minded citizens to a meeting to discuss crafting a new document that could be used in its stead. He welcomed the opportunity for us to come out and help educate their team. He also mentioned that not one law enforcement agency has contacted the MIAC to express disdain for the document, and that it appeared that all agencies were appreciative of the information in the document.
I asked Maj. Replogle about the officers that perished by the hands of “militia” members, he cited 3 unfortunate circumstances. I couldn’t write fast enough so please pardon my inaccurate recount of the officers or situation. He mentioned an officer who was killed in the line of duty in 1985 by a member of the Christian Identity Movement (white supremacist group). He cited the David Tate case where Mr. Tate was transporting a van full of explosives and automatic weapons. Tate was pulled over and he began to open fire on the officers, killing one with 11 rounds and another was wounded. Another officer died a year after being shot through a window of his own home (1987). Obviously the threat is real, and paramilitary groups do exist. He also added an example of a theoretical situation, that if he or another officer were to pull over a vehicle that was breaking the law, and they saw a bumper sticker that read “Don’t take my guns away”, they would instinctually use caution, that the person inside MAY have a firearm.
I was also repeatedly assured that no officer would profile vehicles with political information on the vehicles or because of profiling; he commented that the officers take the Constitution very seriously and would never encroach on our civil rights. If we ever felt that our rights were encroached upon, to contact the police department in question and let them know and an investigation will be launched.
With all that being said, he wanted me to inform EVERYONE that they have set-up an email account specifically for the MIAC concerns. He asked me to direct everyone to that email and they will look into everyone’s concerns. That email is:
Now here is my take on this conversation (Maj. Replogle, I hope you still understand my concerns and don’t hate me for this), the MIAC is not going to budge on this document, AND NEITHER ARE WE!!! Our demands are clear and precise. We feel that this document is a potential violation of our 1st Amendment rights to freely express ourselves without fear of being singled out. If Governor Nixon won’t retract this document and apologize for unintentionally slandering an ENTIRE group of AMERICAN’S based on their political beliefs, then we will continue to fight against the state of Missouri until we feel that this injustice is corrected.
So PLEASE, continue to call Governor Nixon and RESPECTFULLY tell them that you won’t tolerate being singled out as a domestic threat and that you will not spend one dime in Missouri, and advocate against his re-election until he fixes this.

We WON’T take this laying down! We won’t continue to slowly let our elected officials strip away what’s left of our liberty. What we are asking is NOT asking much. It wouldn’t take much for them to fix this problem, but their adamant defiance to respond to the people they EMPLOY will not be tolerated any more.
If we don’t stand out ground here, then we will have failed the children yet to come!!!

The more I think about it...
the more I am thinking this "leak" was intentional to intimidate people planning to attend the rally there at the end of the month. Too much of a coincidence that this leak occurred in Missouri.
I am disgusted that they defend this document and the governor also defends it.
Has anyone been following what is going on in Mexico? I'm going to post an article. There are kidnappings occurring daily here in this country by Mexican gangs...yet there is no mention of them being a threat here!
I have no doubt the threat is real...
...I'm just not convinced I should be lumped in with those fringe elements seeking to do battle with the law enforcement community.
That being said, let this serve as an eye opener for those in doubt... I've read a lot lately about how LE would not fire on us/confiscate our weapons/enforce unconstitutional laws.... it's all BS.
All the powers-that-be have to do is point and say "sick'em" and they will tear off pieces of us like hounds from hell. There is no loyalty to the people they are supposed to serve. They do not question the edicts that are passed down to them...they aren't supposed to. They simply and blindly follow orders like good prison-camp-guards in Germany. When the time comes, they will be genuinely sorry, but it will not stop them from doing what they are told.

What really irks me...
When I read this:

Okay, so when they pull my car over for having a Ron Paul bumper sticker on it, they would instinctively use caution, why? Because I promote an individual who has shown through actions that he will defend and uphold the Constitution?
Or, when they see a copy of America: Freedom to Facsism on the back seat, they would instinctively use caution, why? Because I am in possession of a movie that attempts to discover what the reality is behind the federal income tax, RFID, etc. for the betterment of "we the people?"
So, is the next step to be cautious if they notice I have a pocket Constitution poking out of my breast pocket when writing out the speeding ticket?
And, one recent thought, nothing to do with MIAC...
Why is it that when law enforment officer approaches the car, they say, "do you know why I have pulled you over?" It's so they can get a confession before they have even accused you of breaking a law. And, why on earth am I considered guilty before innocent? Because the law enforcement officer has already stated that he/she has already caught me speeding. "I clocked you doing 60mph in a 50mph zone." Okay, so I am not innocent before proven guilty? Thanks for the heads-up officer. Okay time to stop this brainstream rant that is off topic. Thanks for reading...

I believe that Dr. Paul, Barr, and Baldwin....
should proceed immediately with a lawsuit against MO, MIAC and Maj. Replogle. I am certain Dr. Paul's supporters would be happy to fire up a money bomb for legal fees. Hit these guys where it hurts...the pocket. They'll think twice about going after patriot citizens again and think of the "news coverage" this trial would create.

They are telling us one cop gets shot years ago by someone we know next to nothing about and that justifies calumniating HALF the country? We are getting tasered to death, shot to death, doors kicked in and innocent women and children slaughtered wholesale and we have no reason to suspect a few bad cops? Ok, let's look at this closely.
First, he admits that they were going to agree secretly to label us, profile us, and target us, and that the word wasn't supposed to get out.
Second, after word did get out, he plainly states that they still are going to do exactly as they had planned anyway. He's got his marching orders.
Then he proceeds to cite some cop-attack, and decides that since the perp was of a certain religion, ALL people of that religion need to be considered "terrorists".
This Replogle character is an evil evil man.
He's the modern equivalent of a Nazi SS stormtrooper. And so are the people who are going to carry out his orders, just like he's carrying out the orders of the vicious puppet-masters that are commanding him.
If any of you were still wondering if these "public serpents" are going to come and take your guns, and shoot you in the process, stomp your pets to death, and enslave your children, I think you now have the definitive answer to that question.
It's us or them, and we'd better wake up to it.
The gov't may lie about alot of things, but they are never lying when they tell you that they are coming to attack you, incarcerate you, or kill you.

I think it is important, especially when speaking with people in Jefferson City, that we stick to what we know for sure and do not let a reaction end up giving credibility to their report. I appreciate your passion.
I agree with your first couple of points - if this had never been leaked we would never know how serious the atmosphere is throughout the states. And, it is sad that they are so determined to stick by the intent of the document that they cannot give an inch on the content.

He referenced violence by a group that calls themselves the Christian Identity. These are people that believe they are a superior tribe of Israel and that all "colored" people are cast-aways from Eden. That hardly describes an entire population of a religion. He also never called them "terrorists", but (granted mistakenly) violent militia.

It may be true, but after having met him and speaking face to face for over an hour, I have to tell you this is unfair at this point. He has done nothing up to this point to deserve that. If he instructs his officers to act violently based on the document, then I will agree. He is a strong 2nd Amendment advocate and I think he is wrong to stand by the report - very wrong - but a difference in philosophy and thought is no reason to declare someone as evil.
I think he, just like millions and millions of others, are still asleep. We have a chance to wake them - or at least make them think about freedom and what it means. They may never join us-but we need to do what we can now.

You can give him the benefit of the doubt if you want to.

We were never going to do anything to them, and they know it.
This whole thing is a set up, so that they have the excuse to do something to us.

And I think it is very dangerous to allow them to play off the Christian Identity card to get you to accept their divisive tactic. They want to see if you'll "hang another group out to dry", just to save your own skin.

Just so you know - I think you are probably right.
But, as a man who believes in individual liberty over all collectivism, I cannot lump one man into a group based solely on conjecture. I also know what it is like to have a "public face", and he never said anything in our conversation to lead me to believe he would act out against us violently or legally. In fact, he admitted he had friends and family that were Ron Paul-friendly and that he "understood" our stance on issues.

They know how to interrogate/analyze, and how to make you think they are "on your side" when they are doing it.

we all need to get behind every one of these efforts to repudiate these officials for what they've done.
But we need to recognize that whatever they might give "lip service" to in a public statement, will not change what they are actually going to do.
I don't know how to say it any other way.
They're coming for us, and not to sell tickets to the Policemen's Ball.
They didn't issue this list because they actually think that any of us is going to attack them. They issued this list so they have their excuse to attack us.
