Time for a new type of "food bank?"

I will confess the idea came from a creepy dream I had about trying to barter for food and no one would take my gold. The ONLY thing anyone would trade food for was seeds, heirloom seeds.

I have also been thinking that all the chicken ranchers might want to have an incubator, and maybe even always have a few eggs in there. If the day comes that our "hoarded" food is stolen from us or our chickens are slaughtered "for our safety" having a few hatchlings coming along might be the cheepest (cute, eh?) insurance you can get!
