Silverstein wants bailout for WTC ?

From this morning's Wall St. Journal ...
The rebuilding of the World Trade Center site, already hobbled by years of delays and infighting, is facing fresh problems as private developer Larry Silverstein asks the government for crucial financial assistance, according to people familiar with the matter.
The result would be that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the government entity that owns the site, would take on more of the risk of the project at a time when the agency already faces budget restraints to pursue its core transportation and infrastructure missions.
The Port Authority, eager to prevent the project from stalling, is considering helping to finance at least one of Mr. Silverstein's planned three office towers, according to people familiar with the matter. Mr. Silverstein is requesting financing help on at least two of the three towers. The Port Authority would require concessions from Mr. Silverstein, including possibly giving up some of upside profits should the towers succeed in the long term.
This is the same guy who wanted double his insurance policy's value after the devastating 2001 attacks because each airplane impact, as he said, was actually a separate act of terrorism.
And that's the Nice on some of the bad press surrounding Silverstein ... Most know him best from his eternally curious comment to PBS shortly after the collapse of WTC 7.

This is outrageous.
It is pathetic enough that he is asking for the money, but that they are actually considering going along with it is just...outrageous.
Here's my version of a bailout for Larry Silverstein.
We put him in a large tank.
Super glue his feet to the floor.
Start slowly flooding the tank with water.
Hand him a plastic dixie cup ( to "bail out" the water) or in case he needs a drink.
Introduce live piranhas as the water gets to about knee level.
Play this on live television pay per view, with the benefits going to the dying rescue workers, and victims that didn't take the payoff.
We could get David Blaine (street magician) to do some snazzy tricks, while suspended over the tank.
I'm talkin' fun for the whole family. Free hot dogs, popcorn, clowns, jugglers. THE WORKS!!!!

I don't want to start another hornets nest, but I have a question. In the picture in the article you posted, the birds eye view of ground zero has WTC 5 in it with the big hole in the middle. I think 4 also had large holes directly in the middle of them, like they were carved out from the inside (or blown out, or beamed out...) Do you know? I saw some site from a lady that said they were laser beams that hit them, but this did seem ??? Thanks. BTW, perhaps Silverstein will get so much more greedy with asking for this bailout that he will get exposed, finally.
I could never subscribe to any 911 theory that includes beams of
any kind. I always thought that this was the reason people were labeled crazy in the 911 truth circles when it became a bad episode of Star trek.
This is what the media used to sway attention away from the rational logical arguments that the engineers and scientists were collecting.

Terrorism insurance was arround when he owned those buildings. It was only offered to my real estate holdings after this all happened. So how did he get this type of insurance

This is just like the AIG bonuses.
This is simply good business. Never use your own money, use OPM (other peoples money). Note how the article says that Silverstein may have to give up some profit, if the buildings make money in the future. This is all so sick. We cannot continue to base a society on hypocrisy, greed and lust, and then constantly act surprised when people behave badly.
