(Amy) Allen considers herself a paleo-Libertarian and composed a theme song for the Ron Paul movement.

"I felt like I had to do something, and I didn't know what to do, so I wrote a song. When I met Ron Paul he said, 'You've done more for the revolution in a short period than years of me giving speeches. Bob Marley created political change through music. Music is very powerful; never forget that.' I thought - shit! - that's awesome. I was just frustrated with the overall trend to have the government take care of us from cradle to grave, the overall trend of us losing our civil liberties, and I had no choice in it to just write a song."

The article doesn't explain the assault very much, poor gal! But I did like what Ron Paul told her about Bob Marley!

I love the remark about Bob Marley...I'm a huge fan..especially when the wife and I visit Jamaica... :O)

BTW... Aimee has a new CD coming out July 21st... I have sworn to help support that doll from now until the end... I still listen to her revolution song at least once a day...I still get chill bumps and some motivation too... The revolution will forever be in debt to her.

A somewhat dated article regarding what happened to Aimee...has she totally dropped out of the freedom movement? I can sorta understand. Damn shame what happened. :-(

If you listen to the Alex Jones interview with Amy, it's clear she is totally in the freedom movement for now and always. She is a very strong person; that's how she recovered from the vicious attack so quickly, to sing about freedom.
Amazing woman.
