Peter Schiff: The Crisis Just Begun

TBT. That along with precious metal stocks and precious metals are the ways I am hoping to get through this somewhat intact.

to "get out of the dollar". This would include the bonds. I think the govt wanted everyone to flee to bonds because that is how they borrow the money to fund the bailouts.

I'm invested in foreign stocks and gold (with Schiff). You can also invest in foreign bonds and I may do that at some point.

For me, it isn't practical to put ALL my money into food and PM's.

What has real, intrinsic value? What can YOU use - eat, make medicine, build stuff out of...
Gold and silver are the only currency we mess with as an investment, and we do NOT count on a big increase. It is wealth we can put in our pockets and RUN with, if we need to. Also, we are healers by nature and profession, and know how to make medicine out of silver.
We are "heavily invested" in rice and beans. Big, heavy sacks... lol! Seriously, I fully intend to feed as many people for as long as I can rather than shoot the sleeple who failed to prepare. I have enough seeds to start 100 gardens. I will give seeds and hens away, too. I have a big pile of scrap lumber that people will be invited to build their own coop from. I am "investing" in being prepared FOR my sleeple neighbors.
IF I had any extra money to invest, I would buy land in a foreign country. Indeed, we are going to try to really hustle this spring and try to scrape together a little cash to do just that. We are planting a garden and hunkering down, but also trying to be ready to flee the country permanently on a moment's notice.

Perhaps you lack firearms, or ammunition, or agricultural experience, or barter skills, or silver or gold, but simply by virtue of being connected to this online communityof r3VO_]utionary radicals and keeping your head up you are more mentally and emotionally prepared than the vast bulk of humanity.

While you still have time, do SOMETHING. Pick up extra toilet paper at the supermarket. Visit that coin shop. Learn to roll cigarettes or bandages (skills will always be in demand). Keep clawing your way forward, one agonizing inch after the other. We're also here, and we'll be helping each other. I know I'm going to need plenty of help.

That is what we have been saying for the most part all along. Make sure you have food (seeds too), water, shelter, whiskey, sewing needles, generators, diesel fuel, guns & ammo, a deep shelter for all those things, of course yourself, and family. Oh, and please do not forget gold, and silver if you can manage it. When America takes the fall, and I personally believe it will be after the G20 meet next month, you will wish you had gold and silver in your possession, not in ETFs either, make it physical gold and silver. Store your wealth close to home, and protect it.

This is not to make you scared, it is to make you realize what is happening around the world does not revolve around the United States, or the average American citizen, and don't think that the big players in the scheme of things won't just pull the plug out from under the United States. Unfortunately, for Americans, the Bankers/NWO folks have infiltrated the American credit market, and the Banks here in the good old USA. I am by no means an Obama supporter, but I will tell you, he has been put into office as a puppet, and a scapegoat for the big head dogs that control the world. I predict between June 2009, and September 2009 the G20 will make an announcement for a global currency, or a basket of several, and it will not include the US dollar, Obama will obviously buy into that, especially with the financial turmoil our Country is in. I also believe that if they (the Chinese, and Russians) are smart they will back these currencies with gold or silver. Who are the countries that have bought the most gold and/or silver over the past 2 years? Well, that would be China, Russia, and India. Funny thing is China has NOT been buying all it's gold on the open market, so this leads me to believe they have quite a bit more than we realize. Putin is no dummy, personally I give him credit for being honest, and wanting to do the right thing for the people of Russia, he is admirable, and I know in saying that I will be cast as a dissenter, but when I see a leader, or ex-leader of a country wanting to do what is best for their country, I will give him praise all the time, mind you I am ex-military of the US, and have never had a sitting President in our country that has actually cared about the regular joe-blow citizen in our country, the only exception would be Ronald Paul, Congressman of Texas, and I am of California, and did not have the honor to vote him in as my Congressman, but I had the opportunity to vote for him as President as a write in here in California.

Okay, lets see here, what will happen next. When the G20 had their pre-meeting meeting last weekend, PM Gordon Brown, and the PM of Germany actually said they want a different reserve currency, and have every intent to sway the US government when they meet on April 2, 2009 in order to do that. We all know that China, and Russia want the same thing, we have also heard that the UN is saying that countries should dump the Dollar as the Reserve Currency. Enough Said!!!!
