You're right (and I think the ROMNEY people are voting for Ron a

t this point to say the results are "illigimate" and blame the poll results on US! -If anything we learned from the 2008 presidential elections is that they are the worst CHEATERS-

The only one to blame for this lame poll is NPR themselves.

They are the ones that designed it, and apparently they designed it so that Ron Paul could be taken out in the second round by mass media Romney voters.

Hopefully it backfires on NPR. Will they let it?

If they don't, it could backfire even more as they modify the votes.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

The ol bait and switch eh?

The ol bait and switch eh?

Ventura 2012

the moral is

don't eff with ron paul supporters.

CPAC 2010

I like the idea of taking over CPAC 2010 someone posted. The C4L regional conference drew thousands.

Romney took over CPAC this year with less than 500 people and around 20% of the vote. Seems very doable.

It would be awesome to have more than 50% so we could run Hannity out of the building.

1.1 million votes and Ron Paul has a 71% to Mitt's 28%? This whole thing is going backfire in a big way. Let it go and dont cheat. Its obvious that is whats taking place, and you are all going to get called out on it.

"Qui audet adipiscitur"

where does it say you cant or shouldnt vote more then once.

if you build it he will come..........Ron Paul 2012.

Not cheating

I could only vote once too.

I tried to cheat and couldn't.

No joke. It wouldn't let me vote more than once.

You have to delete the cookies first,

which is easily done in Tools menu of the Mozzila-Firefox browser. Once the cookies are deleted you can vote again, then you have to delete the cookies again each time you vote. That's what some are setting their macros to do at high speed over and over.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

Personally, and this is just me,

I would not cheat on this poll (or any other) even if I could. One of my bitc*es has been concerning Diebold being hackable...and very obvious FAKED online polls. If I cheat myself, I feel I have no legitimate reason to complain. Not that my goal is complaining--my goal is enough people getting po'd about this treachery, so (honest) change can be ushered in...

Ron Paul 2012...and beyond

Many had no problem...

"cheating" Dr. Paul during the primaries. FIXED right from the start, but I get your point.

Do onto others... ... ...

Two wrongs... ... ...

Its going to look a lot worse for Ron Paul supporters than Mitt Romney supporters (if they are cheating too) if this turns out to be some sort of media scam...

And yes it is possible to cheat on this, and yes it is possible for the folks at npr to discern how many times one person voted. It will look kind of silly (and embarrassing) if only 100 people voted for Ron Paul in the end. Dont`cha think?

"Qui audet adipiscitur"

I think once is enough.

I'm still tryng to get weened from my typewriter let alone eating cookies and stuff.

Jim DeMint

DeMint is one of those republicans like Sanford that I would probably vote for and support in the republican primary, but who I would never vote for in a general election because there will always be Constitution Party or Libertarian parties that are better.

Who cares about "popularity" or "personality" though so long as they are conservative.

Yeah, I'm with you on that.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. There could be a problem in 2012, however, because what if we have a third party guy like Ventura who has a shot at winning and we have a lukewarm Reaganite GOP candidate that can steal some votes from him as a faux liberty candidate. We need to be careful.

Ventura 2012

I wouldn't vote for Ventura or Sanford in the general election, but that's just me.

By then it will be Ventura

By then it will be Ventura or a FEMA camp so I bet you will get some sense of urgency to override your pet issues.

Ventura 2012

Why is jim demint so popular?

He is in currently in the third most popular race against huckabee and is winning. Is it just because every body hates huckabee or do people like jim demint? And I can think of a couple of reasons to like jim demint

his recent speech on mandatory national service

Yep, I saw posts on other blogs to vote against Huckabee

They were mostly Romney supporters. But, just like Romney, Huckabee would do good to pick up the Constitution more often when referring to public service, and the bible less often.

Public service is not a religious position.

It merely requires the following of the law.

Ron Paul is outstanding in this regard. He keeps his personal religion to himself, and follows the Constitution.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

I wish

He would understand the bible better is all.

both... DeMint is a pretty

DeMint is a pretty good conservative... not perfect... but he's a good Senator for the big economic issues....

1 million votes?

The thing that gets me is that Mitt most likely pays people to do this and we are leading.

LOL !!!

Come on. Let it go.

Let the Romney bots win, and hope there's no blowback on us. It has gotten beyond silly. There are far more important things to do.

The MittWitts will probably start one last attack tonight around 12 or 1 again when no one is watching again.

As I said before....

There is a reason NPR arranged these brackets the way they are. In fact there is a reason why they decided to use a single elimination tournament format which has absolutely no relationship with any real world political process.

NPR wanted to pit Romney against Ron Paul in an early round so that they could preserve Their favorites and eliminate at least one of Their blacklisted candidates no matter who wins the "battle of the bots".

Of course, the "winner" will be dismissed as an Internet-only candidate with no real popular support.

And, yes, it is no coincidence that Mark Sanford is in our division.
