UK government becomes more Orwellian every day

The UK government has previously released plans to monitor every email, every telephone call, every website visit that anyone in teh UK makes and store them in a central database.
As if that wasn't bad enough, they have now issued directives to social networking sites to store information on their users movements and activities and report them to the Home Office.
