We know for sure that she has been dedicating tremendous amounts of time and effort, even endangering her own health at times with the intensity of her work and her often spartan lifestyle.

They have an active philanthropic outreach ministry to the poor and the homeless as well as their tremendously effective activism effort that you all know about. They have endured criticism from all sides, including nearly lethal "friendly fire".

Fusion Center meltdown: Feds stifling open government in VA?

This past Friday, the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) filed a Freedom of Information Act suit against the Virginia Department of State Police in an effort to uncover whether the federal government has been interfering in the state's open government legislation. EPIC suspects that the feds are trying to use the state police to pressure the Virginia legislature into passing a bill that will put limits on the state's open government laws and will encourage citizens to inform on one another by protecting anonymous tipsters from defamation and invasion of privacy lawsuits.
Why do the feds care about HB1007, the Virginia bill that open government advocates have decried as a major affront to privacy, civil liberties, and government accountability? In a word, it comes down to "fusion."

dressing down of their employees. One can feel the passion being held back on the part of the citizens. It looks like they are beginning to figure out who works for whom. Kudos for the ones who showed up. Next time there should be a 100 times more citizens and no pussy-footing around about what is desired of your employees. These out-of-control employees are breaking the law and operating outside the law and they are being shown so much respect???

This group needs to contact the Missouri Attorney General's office and file a complaint about the violation of Missouri Sunshine Law. The attorney's in this office will check out the information given by this group and then if they determine it's a violation of Sunshine Law will immediately send a letter to the group to give to the Governor demanding that the requested information be given to them immediately.

I've done this against a city in Missouri and the Attorney General takes theSunshine law very seriously. They will act fast with any violation. Good luck to the group, been there done that and it's a wonderful feeling knowing that we do have someone to turn to when we need help.
