April 15th - Forget the labels, I'm calling it my American Sabbath

Folks,

They label us - these power-brokers, these "servants" gliding by in OUR limousines refusing our calls and accepting calls from multinationals and PACs... the super-citizens in our corporate "democracy."

Well, on April 15th, I'm not going to engage in paid work of any kind, nor will I buy or sell anything. I'm staying home.

I'm going to reread the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and take a pause to think about my next action to support freedom.

You see, the labels they love like "liberal" or "conservative", "fundamentalist" or "atheist" or "jew" .... these are their TOOLS!

Tools of fear, tools of blame, tools of dividing us into fear-ridden factions afraid of change and afraid of each other.

I say That is Chickensh*t! How DARE they label you and I? That's sh*t for sure... of the smelliest kind! ANYBODY right now is welcome as my neighbor, and at my table.

We can argue the details and work out our new processes and laws after the fact. LIBERTY IS THE ISSUE, LIBERTY IS THE ANSWER, LIBERTY IS THE ONLY LABEL A PATRIOT WEARS!

"Governing requires the consent of the governed." Well on April 15th, I will not work or spend, even at the point of a gun.

Set aside fear - clear and present danger makes our arguing simply evidence of our strength. You see, I love liberals, conservatives, gays and fundamentalists - because as God is MY witness, it shows people are starting to CARE!

Liberty in our lifetime, FREEDOM AND PROSPERITY FOR OUR CHILDREN.

I am a proud son of a WWII veteran, my mother made a big difference in the Manhattan Project. My daughter attends Wellesley and my true love signed this letter too.
