Brown Calls for EU-US Global Rule

British PM Gordon Brown addressed the European Parliament yesterday, prior to the G20 Summit April 2.

Here Brown calls for an EU-US global rule that controls all the banks ostensibly to fight "shadow banking", "tax havens" and "tax avoiders". He also says the IMF and World Bank would PREVENT financial crises to occur not just react... prevent is another word for control. The video is interspersed with some of the day's speeches by Members of the European Parliament.
