Mitt Romney (Can't we all just get along)

0 votes

Ron Paul has admitted on several occasions that he never thinks he'll be president and that he isn't even trying to. he just wants to have his ideas heard and for the GOP to become truly conservative again.

In that spirit, why should we attack candidates whom will be the likely best chance to beat Obama because I know we can all agree that mitt would be a much better president than Obama.

Me thinks that someone:

that has only been here less than seven hours has much research to do.
Hope he gets a good education.

with that train of though by your observations

should we have picked mcain to beat obama?or group up the romney huckabee votes and give them to mcstain like AK gop did?
lesser of 2 evils is still evil!
what did Goldwater say about extremism and virtue?
hate evil ALL OF IT!

Hey, how about that time

Hey, how about that time Mitt told Ron "He must be reading achmadinejad's press releases." That wasn't nice.

Recall how RP never attacks people personally or laughs and snickers when others are trying to speak. RP just sticks to facts. Mitt needs to learn some manners from a wise old man. Mitt and Julianni acted like trash on stage during the debates. Like school on saturday - NO Class.

Mitt Romney

is nothing more than a neocon and globalist and would be doing the same things that obama is doing. There is no difference in Romney or obama.

Politicians look very nice and friendly on the TV...

especially presidential candidate Mr.Romney.Mitt had his chances, but lets face it, that is not the real issue.Even if Mitt was elected he would of served the very same powers. The same status-quo.I never heard Mitt speak about abolishing the Fed,IRS,returning to the true principles of the Constitution, or on pressing personal liberty issues, none of it.If someone did let me know...

i hated mitt the least

but he is a pro-war globalist.

You realize we give up

But if this is a joke, I can eat brie and drink wine and bull shit with the Romneys. I don't hold his naivete against him

I don't think the OP

is the guy that has the blog. We're getting spoofed again.

There is nothing wrong with Mitt!!!!

Freedom is not FREE!!

He should just NEVER be President, Senator, Gov...(oops!) or DOG Catcher.

He is a Neo-Con from the word go. He debased the party, and his religion. He deserves NOTHING!!!! Besides, He just wants others to run your life. A great puppet.

Freedom is not FREE!!

Neo liberal

is the word I would use for Mitt. ;)

I have a better joke...

Let's go over to the Romney site and tell them the best way they can get the GOP to become truly conservative is to support Ron Paul and donate to the C4L.

Only we'd be serious and they'd be laughing.

I happen to agree...

...We shouldn't attack a candidate whom will be the best chance to beat Obama in the general election. If my memory serves me well, Ron Paul was 1. the most conservative and well-rounded man in the race, and 2. was attacked and ridiculed just about EVERY time he spoke at debate or even had his name brought up to other candidates. Ron had the only chance to win against Obama because he could outdebate anyone if you can get over mittens and rudy laughing so loud in the background. I ask the same question to you, why couldn't we get along? have you forgotten all this? were you ever even listening?
...What gall to ask principled conservatives to bend to a compromising candidate and say its our fault Obama won! Would I rather have a pres I agree with 10% of the time, 5% of the time, or actually stand up for myself and my vote like it means something...how bout you?

I think I got some Mitt's to come here

from a support Mitt Romney site as the original poster used the same comments that I saw in the MR site, so in the spirit of debating the issues please answer respectfully if we are to make them come to the fact that Ron Paul was RIGHT, is RIGHT and will continued to be RIGHT!!!.

fuck mitt romney that evil

fuck mitt romney that evil noecon nazi

Good luck with that...

...but I suspect that Slick Willard does not troll DP for playmates.

Trying to br nice here.

You must be new here. Mitt Romney would be almost the last person that I would describe as a Champion of the Constitution. Not only did he flip flop on almost every issue important to anyone who is opposed to big government and taxes, (and purely for political gain no less), he at the last minute, flip flopped again and decided that he was opposed to abortion. On top of that, he is a typical warmonger. I value integrity, authenticity, and political courage. And did you see how disrespectful he was to Ron Paul at the debates? Completely unacceptable......Romney? I'll pass.

But stick around. You may soon agree.

I am looking at Mark Sanford and Michele Bachmann. Only time will tell though.

Mitt Romney...

thinks it best to consult "his team" of lawyers rather than follow the Constitution. As per Dr. Paul, "that baffles me". Enough said.

No

So long as someone thinks it's OK to make me their slave it's not an attack; it's me defending myself.

Keep drinking the kool aid. You'll be fine.

An empty suit with a pretty face, the coherent ideology of John (Sid Vicious) McCain, the integrity of Bill (Bubba) Clinton, the warmth of Hillary (Bubba in a pants suit) Clinton, and the credibility of Rudy (Hillary in a skirt) Giuliani.

You cannot be serious. Is this supposed to be a humorous

post? "Get along"? With politicians who take my property, curtail my liberty and want to send my children to risk their lives in some kind of foreign military adventure? Afraid not.

HAHAHAHAHA

Not even close.
You are on the WRONG forum!

Go start your own Mitt Romney NEOCON forum. You're just being laughed out of this one.

P.S. And speaking of "attacking and getting along," remember when good old Mitt told Ron Paul in the debate that he was like a terrorist leader in the Al Quaeda because of his views??

(to which Ron Paul replied his classic line: "Make fun, buddy")

Yeh, that was just hilarious.

Here, see for yourself what a gentleman Ron Paul was/is in direct contrast to the smug, rude, ignorant Romney.

Mitt Romney

NeoCon shill baby killer. NO THANKS!

In the interest of full disclosure: First he was for state sponsored baby killing now he claims he is not.

That is a good one.

Hold on, still laughing.....

wait... there's more....

starting to turn blue now...

bwahahahahahahahah....

whew. Ok I'm better now. OMFG that was funny.

Maybe the only thing funnier than that is how much of his own money he had to kick down to lose to McCain.

Psh... Mitt Romney? You

Psh... Mitt Romney? You think Mitt Romney is a viable candidate?

I admit, Ron Paul is not the most typical/mainstream candidate, but that's partially why I like him so much....

But Mitt Romney, by 2012, will have been out of office, and thus out of significance, for 5 years! Where the GOP got the idea that last time's loser in the primary should be the next time's loser in the general election is beyond me...

And all this goes for Palin and Huckabee as well... (especially Palin, who made an ass of herself).

The only reason Ron Paul is not already disqualified for 2012, in my opinion, is because he's been so consistent/principled, and thus he doesn't have the issues/problems of being hard to trust/not standing for anything.

Mitt Romney is a one term governor, from a liberal state, with a hardly conservative record... The only thing positive he has going for himself is a fancy face... and that's not enough to beat Obama. We need someone with substance....

So, if Ron Paul doesn't run again, then my second choice is Mark Sanford... but it's definitely not Romney... it's nothing personal... I'm glad he's sort of making some more conservative points every once in a while, but he's not good enough...

We need someone that can call Obama out and defeat him in a debate/campaign based on reason and logic. I'm not saying Mitt Romney is dumb, but so far, I haven't seen anyone who can appeal to so many people where they say, "Wow, that guy made sense," regardless of their ideology, than Ron Paul.

If you want another slick, arrogant, haughty, condescending,

smug, phony, self aggrandizing, pompous, self-important, vain, supercillious, elitist who devotes more time and care to his tan good looks, raking in HIS millions, and not one whit to our Constitutional freedoms....he's your boy! Enjoy your chains!

See here what this phony thinks about Ron Paul who TRULY wants our freedom:

dnlchisholm, you have been an active member of DP for 2 hours...

now. I would think that by now you would realize that this is the DailyPaul, not the DailyRomney. Please go back and tell Mitt that he is not welcome here, just as we (and Dr. Paul) are not welcome in the Republicon Party. Hope to see you gone soon. Have a great day.
Gunnar, Tanner, and Trapper's Dad

Well

I'd welcome them, if they addressed their errors and spoke the truth instead of trying to formulate and craft pandering rhetoric to get the vote.

Until they can be honest with themselves or get their wakeup call, yep I agree with ya, they be part of the problem and are a waste of time.
