...but very important.
Dr. Paul needs to get more sleep. I have 2nd hand/1st hand
knowledge about this from someone who works with him.
He seems very tired here and in the CNN clip. Everyone
who works with him will tell you that they can't keep up
with him! I hope someone close to him has the influence
and boldness to gently challenge him about getting more
sleep. (Anyone here?)

I think probably DISCOURAGEMENT has a lot to do with it...
After teaching for 30 years....he is watching the final fall of the US system right under his nose. Although he is encouraged by the sudden interest and vitality of many of the populace, I'm sure it must occur to him in his weaker moments.... that it is too little too late. BUT, he is also a man of infinite faith in the truth and the truth winning out eventually.

Glass-Stegall
Ron Paul was against the Phil Gramm's version of the repeal of the glass-stegall. He rose in opposition to the bill, and was one of the only R's to do so.
It was a fair interview, but I wish that would have been stated.
Gordon Brown's devalued himself!
This has become a regular occurrence. Ron Paul telling the likes of Benanke and Geitner where it all went wrong and them sitting there like rabbits in the headlights of a car. The rabbits need to see the dog a bit more!
It's getting hotter for the credit crunchers. Gordon Brown, the devalued Prime Minister of the UK, got this roasting from Daniel Hannan MEP in the European Parliament. Brown just sat there smirking. What a disaster for us all!

EU president Mirek Topolanek said that Gordon Brown and Barak Obama's plans to increase spending on economic recovery are 'a way to hell.' The article can be found at telegraph.co.uk in an article titled: EU Presidency: US and UK economic recovery plans are 'a way to hell.'
At least somebody other than Ron Paul is beginning to see that the stimulus and financial bail-outs are a mistake for the economy and the future.

These are exactly the kind of interviews I like to see. I love catching the Judge and Freedom Watch every week, but in many respects, I think they're preaching to the converted. The Young Turks, on the other hand, are self-described "progressives". There is rarely a better opportunity to explain the true foundation of libertarian ideas than in an open-dialogue style of debate, such as this. Especially since it offers a chance for detailed explanation, rather than relying on sound-bites.
My favorite part was the discussion of Fractional Reserves and Fraud. Notice how Cenk was caught off-guard. He didn't realize Dr. Paul's idea of a free market involves the elimination of Fractional Reserve banking (aka, Fraud). Their first reaction was to quickly challenge the idea, as they had most likely never heard it before ("won't this stifle the economy/investment?" and "isn't that regulation?). And this is precisely when the ball shifts to Dr. Paul's court, since he has diligently studied this subject for decades.
People, this is how hearts and minds are won! While it is unlikely the hosts and their regular audience will jump on board any time soon, I guarantee that interviews like this get the ball rolling for many people. Don't forget, many liberals are intelligent people who have just never been offered a better explanation (we can thank the media for that). Remember - Truth is something that any honest, intelligent person will have a very difficult time ignoring.

It Takes a Year of Learning to Undo Government Programing

I've been here at Daily Paul for about 42 weeks now, and most of that time I've been reading, attending seminars, and watching Ron Paul in much of my free time.
So, I would easily say it takes a good year of learning, to fully undo the fraud and lies we have been taught in American schools, from elementary to graduate.

He actually thinks on some level that credit default swaps is a good thing for investments, and not counterfeiting!
How can you even defend the system unless the system benefits you? It sounds like The Young Turks are heavy gamblers.
Well the Federal Reserve in its raw form is a giant gambling ponzi scheme. It's not transparent at all and most of Congress is seeing this reality, a ponzi gambling scheme eventually will collapse inward like a house of cards!
Great on Paul for getting the message out there to everyone & educating the sheep about this system, hopefully it opens their eyes and they research the Fed and see how secretive the whole CDS scam is.
