London Protesters Threaten Bankers, Evoke Executions
Snip from Bloomberg:
-----
Class War, an anarchist newspaper, has produced a special edition to promote the protest with an image of former Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc CEO Fred Goodwin, whose house was vandalized this week, on a guillotine under the headline “Ready to Riot.” Another shows people dancing around a fire with the slogan “How to keep warm in the credit crunch -- Burn a Banker!” Public anger erupted at Goodwin’s 703,000 pounds annual pension after RBS was bailed out by the government.
The English Revolution culminated with the beheading of Charles I in 1649, ending the so-called divine right of kings in England. Today’s protesters say they draw inspiration from 17th century radicalism.
Four marches will converge on the Bank of England at midday on April 1 for a protest the organizers call “Financial Fools Day.” At the same time, there are plans for a blockade of the European Climate Exchange, in Bishopsgate, to protest against the market in carbon emissions.
Clog Up the Roads
“There’s an avowed intention on their behalf on the 1st of April to stop the City either by just clogging up the roads and preventing people getting into work or, if they’re allowed to, getting into some of those institutions,” said Commander Bob Broadhurst of the Metropolitan Police, who is in charge of the policing operation.
“What we’re seeing is unprecedented planning amongst protest groups,” he told reporters on March 21. “There are some clever, innovative people with lots of ideas.”

How many of the protesters are agents....
and provocateurs hired by the elite to start riots for the "cause"?
This is a common ploy used by those in power. It happened in Seattle and it will happen everywhere!

What else would we expect
What else would we expect from anarchists? But seriously, politics in England is a another world entirely.

Politics may be different
But obviously the problem is the same. Government 'bailouts' for the rich bankers and a depressed economy for the rest of us.
Nice try distracting attention away from the real issue anyway, Mr Troll.
He's not trolling Dude!
He absolutely correct in saying that the political attitudes of the public are very different in Britain from the United States.
The only thing that seems identical to me are the politicians and policies on both sides of the Atlantic.

How about you get a new superhero ..
Alan Moore doesn't have this right ... chaos is the opposite of order. It takes money and planning to pull off a communist coup, and, what's been done to this country has taken them more than 100 years. Chaos just doesn't have that kind of staying power. It's nondiscriminatory. How is it it makes 1/2 of 1% of our population zillionaires and the rest of us paupers? That's pretty selective chaos if you ask me.
When power is being wrested from the established system by usurpers, the ignorant will be led to believe that everything is chaotic, because, once they believe it, they have NO WILL to fight because there is NO ONE to fight. Basically, they give up.
That's what's wrong with most Americans ... they believed Alan Moore ... and they've given up.

March on DC
So when are we all going to march on DC?
Not just CFL or RP Supporters, but like, the whole country? With pitchforks?
I'm game.
I agree class warfare isn't
I agree class warfare isn't the answer. But enough of what *they* are trying to do. What are *we* trying to do?
Given my limited time with the DP and C4L, maybe I don't get it, but looks to me that two major strategies are (1) infiltrate the Republican Party and (2) try to introduce/influence legislation, in the hopes of restoring respect for our Constitution. I'm okay with this--hey, I can make phone calls and do research (as I'm trying to do with some MD legislation)--and I'm sure we will make something of a difference this way.
I'd like to think that if we have enough people chipping away at the vast edifice of the federal government, we will succeed. But any truly serious attempt to restore the Constitution is nothing less than a paradigm change, and if we come close, I expect some resistance. If we make it to this point, some of that resistance will come from the government, who might decide to do more to us than just put us on a terrorist watch list. And there a lot of people in this country who really don't want freedom, they just want to sit back and collect the checks. (I *know* they are out there...I ride the city bus every day and that's all I hear...). Some of these people, seeing an imminent separation from their means of support, might single us out as the ones who are causing their problems. So what are we gonna do then? Violence shouldn't be the first resort, but direct action of some type may need to be a real option. Remember the first Revolution? It was fought on intellectual fronts, but also involved armed conflict...
"Take heed! Remember the times of Charles the First!" --Thomas Paine, The Crisis, Number VII, November 21, 1778.
Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
Thomas Jefferson
Malo periculosam libertatem quam quietam servitutem. ("I prefer the tumult of liberty to the quiet of servitude"). Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, 30 January 1787.
Stop the gears!
Damn whatever cliche of the notion. Grind the damn gears to a halt! All through time bringing the gears to a halt is the local impetus of power. If the human conscious globally stops for a few days, it will produce more balanced thought and subsequent action. That balance includes the imbalance caused by centralized banks going completely away. Continuing to function in the current economic architecture is just expending enormous effort to keep the cracked and crumbing damn from releasing the pressure behind it. That functioning being still driven by the hypnosis that most work has anything at all to do with the survival much less the prosperity of the global consciousness that is life. It doesn't...
Just stop the gears.... Watch the show... Globally.
A no risk Revolution
I come to the DP often to catch up on the topics here and sometimes post a comment, but lately it has really been pissing me off. Some people here and I said SOME not everyone, seems to think there is some kind of no risk Revolution as to where they think they can sit on their asses and write letters to our corrupt officials and think they can make some kind of passive intellectual conversation to bring about change from leaders that are underhanded murderous theives. WTF is wrong with the people in this country? Have WE all turned into cowards? We were once looked at as the greatest nation in the world and now we are being laughed at... Does this not stick in the soul of every American out there?
There are countries around the world that are revolting and all we can say is there not doing the right thing. Has anyone here thought that maybe we are not doing the right thing? Our passive intellectual conversations are changing very little, while there agenda keeps roaring forward. I'm afraid it will NOT be until everyone is brought to there knees that we are forced to do the right thing. It would be nice to live in a world where diplomacy is rewarded but this is not that world... All I can say to the passive people out there that want the no risk Revolution is - - Gods Speed.
BTW If there are people out there waiting for Ron Paul to make a call to arms that is NOT going to happen. He is our inside man and plenty smart enough to know not to risk that position.

Thanks for the Reality Check. Hope someone is listening!
Sad to say, people are sheep ... they need to see and feel the gun pointed at their heads before the act (by which, I mean faint).
My friends, who have heard what's going on from me, are happily filing their IRS tax forms, hoping the Washington monster doesn't come for them.
I keep telling them that this is the communist takeover of the United States but they can't comprehend it. I show them facts and they nod and agree and then they go about their usual business.
They keep telling me to shut up, lest I attract the wrong kind of attention. I can't believe we have come to this!
Comedic is it not?
And comedy as we know has its roots in tragedy...
Professor suspended over claims he incited violence at G20
http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2009/mar/27/g20-protests...
One of the leading organisers of next Wednesday's Financial Fools' Day protests was last night suspended from his role as Professor of Anthropology at the University of East London, on full pay.
Chris Knight, who has been a lecturer in anthropology at the university since 1989, and professor since 2000, was informed of his suspension yesterday evening, and was told it was because of an interview he gave to a newspaper this week in which he is quoted as "inciting criminal action, specifically violence against policemen and women and damage to banking institutions".
In an interview with the Evening Standard, Knight was pictured with a placard bearing the slogan "Eat the bankers", and quoted as saying: "If they [the police] want violence, they'll get it". He is also quoted by the Standard as advising bankers that on April 1 "if you're thinking of coming in, my advice is don't".

Welocome to the NWO future
Where the Chinese Dangan becomes universal and your station in life will be decided by your provenance and performance on standardized tests...untoward high performance identifies subversive homeschooling activity and will not be tolerated...additional study, outside of assigned work will be seen as dissent and will necessarily curb your right to work...for after all, we are the land of the free and the home of the brave...with liberty and justice for all...personal excellence and personal opinion are subversive to a properly operating economy and will be discouraged at all costs. All who are not in a decision making capacity must be equal.

That people's attentions are
That people's attentions are on private bankers and not on government, spells well, I think, just how misguided this public anger is.
Central Bankers control the governments ... call the shots
Those people have it right ... for a wonderful change! The Rothschilds are at the center of the whole thing. If they go, so goes the NWO as well as all the government lackeys who merely take orders from them.
Who would you rather fight, all the brainless bureaucratic governments of the world or the 15 banking families who control them?
The
The New World Order, right. Gotta fight that NWO, them Illuminati secretly conspiring since antiquity for a one world satanic state.
Seriously folks, calm down. Lobbying of any form, particularly from capital rich sectors like the banks is a two-way street. One side has to offer the money / demand the bailout, but it's the second party (ie. the government) that chooses to accept the lobbying and in return hand out taxpayer money. What we're advocating, I hope, is a separation between special interests and the governmental body and in order to do that, both parties must be targeted just as fiercely.
Assuming that there was some kind of banking conspiracy, cutting down the bankers without targeting the government does nothing to close the doors to future abuse from another power elite. Hence targeting one side of the matter without keeping the big picture in context is ultimately futile.
What's happening in Britain is nothing more than a witch hunt that I think will only help to further strengthen the power of the state. Not at all compatible with the notion of freedom.
It IS a New World Order, ruled by Greed.......
Not a satanic bunch of misfits although Zionism itself is pretty evil and globalization is an insane idea.
http://www.votervoice.net/Core.aspx?AID=972&APP=GAC&SiteID=0...
But it dilutes the effort as you are aware, to assume that we're fighting some insane bunch of black magicians.
They worship in their temples, they worship at the Fed and the Federal Reserve & the Rothschilds and corporations RUN that as well as the push for World Government and international corporatism.
But if they were not doing it someone else would be, unless we completely cut off the revolving door mentality of our own congress and of congress in general.
It's BRIBERY, secretive, anathema to democracy and corporate control. The only thing that the New World Order understands is corporate control of banks, industry and people. No more complicated then that.
Greed is relative.

Explore Orthodox Christianity
"NWO" is their term, not mine-and there's nothing "new" about it
We are not fighting two separate monsters here ... its only one hierarchical monster. Lop off the head and the rest will be relatively easy. The government we now have is evil to the core. It must not continue.
Hope you can take your own advice to "calm down" when the current corporate fascist system morphs into the jackboot communist system, which is in the works right now.
But, hey, I guess you believe taking a republic and morphing it into a communistic totalitarian state just happens. I realize you'd hate to be called a conspiracy theorist, but it doesn't sound like you're grounded in reality either. You don't know how close we are to the end.
