Tom McClintock is a champ! I watched his speeches that you posted the other day.

So far he has been very Ron Paul-ish, let's hope he keeps it up. I'll continue to post his speeches as they come.

Tom is CA's token "conservative"

Compare Tom's stand on issues to Ron Paul

I wish Tom was a Ron, but he's not, but by comparison to Arnold http://www.ontheissues.org/Arnold_Schwarzenegger.htm

CA GOP is Sooooooooo weak/corrupt "sold out" , my county has GOP between 20 and 25% to Democrats. http://www.co.mendocino.ca.us/acr/cgi-bin/current.pl . I see no way the GOP can win nationally without CA, and I don't see CA.... unless Arnold runs, and why not since so many people believe Obama Inc was established in HI. wait.. since so many people think Obama was born in Kenya, then Arnold should get a free pass... lets see if he legalizes marijuana, and how he handles the border with mexico.

As far as politicians go

I'd say McClintock is one of the better ones. Definitely not perfect, but he has pretty clear principles on limited government (especially at a federal level) and he wants a lot of the same things we do. We should certainly analyze his voting record with intensity and clarity, doing that with any representative will give us the greatest picture of how they relate to us. So far I've been impressed with McClintock.
