4 Ron Paul supporters were elected in our local House District! Lets hear it for your district!!!!!

who were born elsewhere, and experienced socialism on our own skin, know how to appreciate individual liberties this nation has offered to everyone willing to work hard and contribute to American society. And, sure as hell, we are going to defend them by fighting to protect the Constitution and actively participate in political process. This is why Orly Taitz, for example, is pushing the Obama citizenship case to the Supreme Court, because once this last barrier, the Constitution, is eliminated in its original form nothing will prevent the United States to become like the rest of the collectivist world. She knows well how the Soviet Union operated.

Experience in my district is that many ordinary Republicans are good people, wiling to listen, and certainly feel demoralized. They are willing to support people who are honest and truly idealistic, meaning us--RP crowd. It’s the Republican Party leadership on most levels that sucks and needs to be replaced. I used my two minutes to tell them what I really think and people seemed to appreciate that. They can spot a bullshiter when they see one, which is why they ranked them way behind all of us Paulites. Basically, I said that ever since receiving my citizenship and the copy of the Constitution in the courthouse across the street from the Oklahoma City bombing memorial, I carry the Constitution in my jacket every day.

Then I added that what makes this country unique is that its foundations were based on individual freedoms and Jeffersonian principles that, if lost, will bring us to the same level of that part of the world where I came from. In that part of the world election results are known six months before the elections. Finally, I added that as a delegate my goal was to elect the leader of the Minnesota Republican Party who will understand and follow the Constitution. Fifty percent of those who voted wrote my name to one of four available slots for delegates. It would be interesting to see how they spelled my name (probably something like “the foreign guy,” “the dude with some weird accent,” or “that’s got to be the Ron Paul supporter,” etc.)

We have to reach out to the people and as much as it sucks to be beat up at every step in the process, we do need to be transparent and have positive message and, on local level, people will gradually join us. That is how it begins.

great to see all the efforts all of us have made locally come to this fruition. And this is just the beginning!

Congratulations to you and your people there Joe! Yes, you are right, as we learn the ropes then the balance that has come undone may quickly swing the other way.

I do not recall feeling so energized and determined since I was involved in setting up the Libertarian based 'Freedom Party of Canada' in the mid-eighties.
