Christians Boycott Missouri

Here is a copy of my letter to Governor Nixon of Missouri.

Dear Governor Nixon
Today we have decided to join the Grassroots National Christian Boycott of Missouri Tourism and Products until such time as the Fusion Center / MIAC are dissolved.
Our goal is to have TEN Million CHRISTIANS signed on by the end of April 2009.
We have volunteered our time to help compile a list of companies doing business and producing products in your state.
It is understood that a few token apologies have been made with a WINK, WINK to your friends at the Fusion Center. I say “WINK, WINK” because we all know that the damage is already done and that there is nothing to stop them from continuing to spew out this type of subversive diatribe to our law enforcement officers. You can not un-ring the bell. There is nothing to stop them from continuing to intimidate law abiding Patriotic Christian Americans.
The article put out by the subversive Fusion center was without a doubt targeted at only one group, PATRIOTIC CHRISTIANS.
Our Christian Churches all across this nation work hard to encourage our young people away from the drug culture and to encourage them to embrace the word of God. But what young man would dare now to show up at church without fear that Homeland Security is in the parking lot writing down license plate numbers and profiling them as domestic terrorist.
I will never again be able to walk into a voting booth without the fear that someday my choice will be used against me.
When we go to our house of worship we have never feared the Taliban, Al-Qaida, or Osama bin Laden but we will never again go to church without looking over our shoulder for fear we are being targeted by Homeland Security.
I expect that the next issue from the MIAC will direct the law enforcement to arrest any
Patriotic Christian, who salutes the American flag, sings the national anthem, recites the pledge of allegiance, has an American flag sticker on their bumper, or wears a Cross.
We may not all agree with everyone’s political leanings however we all agree that we will not step aside and allow you to profile Christians as domestic terrorists. This is paramount to denying Christians the right to freely worship without fear of government or law enforcement intrusion. No freedom loving American will stand aside and allow you intimidate people based on their political choice.
This document that was recently released did something that Osama bin Laden could never do. It struck fear in the hearts of every Patriotic person and Christian in America.
I can only imagine Osama bin Laden dancing a jig around his campfire, howling with laughter and toasting his new friends in Missouri. He will no doubt send you a thank you note if not indeed further instructions.
This document will make all Americans fearful of voting, fearful of going to church, and fearful of being involved in any way with our political process. I would ask you Sir, “Who is the real domestic terrorist here? Who has put this fear in the hearts of Patriotic Christians all across America?”
The MIAC report was very cleverly written to demonize and intimidate only one group of law abiding citizens, PATRIOTIC CHRISTIANS.
If this report had said that if you are a Black Muslim who voted for Barak Obama and you support affirmative active then you might be a domestic terrorist, I think this would have been a different story all together.
Patriotic Christians may have in the past been so complacent that we may have given you and the subversive Fusion Center the impression that it was safe for you to wage an all out attack on us and the very freedoms we hold so dear. Be assured Sir that you have just poked a sleeping giant in the eye with a sharp stick.

Governor Nixon we ask that you immediately close down this subversive, anti-American, anti-Christian Fusion Center.

Good Passion - but misused

As someone who knows the MIAC Report very well and had face-to-face meetings with officials, your diatribe is unfounded and HURTS our cause. Nothing in the document refers to Christianity - absolutely nothing. There was one cult recognized, the Christian Identity Movement -which is a real paramilitary group, and the only ones that have used violence against law-enforcement in Missouri.

It is this kind of reactionary behavior that is going to give the media and our critics the information they need to show Joe Public that we cannot even comprehend the language of the document. You make us appear stupid and give credence to their fears.

I have no problem with a large number of patriots boycotting - but it needs to be for the right reason. And that is, that the MIAC report profiled everyone who thinks outside of the two-party paradigm, not a religious group. I am not a Christian and nearly everything in that document applies to me as well.

You can do whatever you want, and if you get a bunch of people to achieve change by peaceful means I have no problem with it in essence. But, this marginalization is exactly what the writers of the report wanted to see.

Bravo!

You have my full support, and well written my friend and fellow Patriot!

Is it really necessary to

Is it really necessary to make "patriotic Christians" all-caps?

What about patriots who are not Christians? or Christians who do not consider themselves "patriots" because they disagree with US military adventurism?

Actually, I think someone should file a lawsuit against the state of missouri for putting t his garbage out. The MIAC should be dissolved as well.
