....was that it was for the oil companies. I guess the farmers long ago figured out that their tractors ran quite well on "ethanol" made from hemp.

Then when you figure that clothing made from hemp never wears out...... and all of those companies that produced rayon and polyester came out with their "new" fashions that wear out in a year..... and all the other uses you kind of see that once again a multitude of large corporate "insiders" had good reasons to get rid of this indestructible product.

Some things I learned about hemp,

Henry Fords first model T was designed to run on hemp seed oil.

Also, I can't remember the exact figures but believe it was, one acre of hemp equals 10 acres of trees in production and of course hemp can be harvested yearly. So maybe large land owners back in the day were concerned about thier timber profits.

Great chronology of how Dupont, William Randolf Hearst and the government crushed hemp right after Hemp had been touted on the front cover of Scientific American as the worlds first billion dollar crop. It threatened paper, textile and so many industries that it was a death sentence.

I am guessing that the big pharma companies have genetically modified hemp ready to go for when it does become legal.

It is legal here in Canada so I will mosey on down to the hemp store and see what they have in hemp oil.

Sorry again to let you down for what you are looking for. I don't know the difference. I'm 45 and my mother is twenty one for the fourtieth and some odd year in a row. I grew up in the wood shed and I'm NOT going to argue with her. When she says jump, I jump. No need to ask how high. LOL
We are trying to find MEDS that will work on my dad's, her's, and my own cancers. This seemed like a good place to start. None of us will undergo the surguries or chemo or other reccomended treatments. I'd rather die in my house surrounded by those I love and listening to HERB Albert.

P.S. 80 acres of land, surrounded by 300 more that is un ocupied, know telling what you can find during a walk in the woods? My Dad was "given" 6 months to live....4 years ago. My mom was given "remove that breast or it will spread..." 8 years ago. I was told "have a nut taken out TEN years ago. Hey, I'm talking 'family jewels' here! So far, we all can put in a day's work and sleep good at night. And again, none of us 'smoke' pot. We do order products mentioned earlier and use them. Just a side note, after the whipping I got when dad found out I was smoking ciggs, the thought of him rolling a dooby just makes me sick. It would be like picturing them having sex at this time of their life...but hey as for myself I hope I can at their age....LOL

another reason the "powers-that-be" don't want it legalized is because it opens up certain neuro pathways in the brain thus de-programming all of the subliminal programming that they're doing to us via all forms of media. She said it undoes "compartmentalization" and brainwashing.

I think she is telling the truth because a gastroenterologist once explained to me how medical marijuana works for nausea & vomiting. This is the example he gave me: a person has always loved Big Macs & this person goes to McDonalds & eats a Big Mac on his way to get chemotherapy. After the chemo, he becomes violently ill. It's because of the chemo, of course, but the person's brain ("compartmentalizes") associates it with the Big Mac and he can never eat a Big Mac again as long as he lives. However, if he takes medical marijuana, it undoes this "compartmentalization" in the brain. If a person gets gravely ill, with something like peritonitis, their brain may associate it with any & all food; therefore, they literally cannot ever eat anything again & will die if they don't get the marijuana to undo that in the brain.

you can 'undo' ANYTHING in the brain. neurons that fire together ... wire together. its pretty easy to unwire stuff (neurological clusters. ram calls them 'neuronets') in your brain.

hat yesterday i took my cable box in and when asked why i was giving up cable, i told her that all the programming was for dumbed down america and that the media are all liars as well as the OUTRAGEOUS price i was being charged PLUS they took away channels. ha! take that! so, now i just have to find a new internet provider!!
