EXCLUSIVE: Ron Paul to run for President in 2012

Attention Readers: It is my delight to announce that Dr. Ron Paul, Congressman from Texas, will be running for President in 2012. As a former Libertarian, and longtime support of open ballot access and general third party improvements, this is good news for the readers here at Independent Political Report. I have confirmed this with Ron Paul’s national media coordinator April Dummkopf, who has graciously allowed us to break the news here at IPR. They fully expect to begin laying the groundwork for another run in the coming months, and will be setting up an exploratory committee in early 2010.
