Meeting with State Department employee tomorrow

Tomorrow in my Government and Politics we will be having a guest speaker from the State Department. The speakers area of specialty is Cuba and during the talk we will be able to ask questions. Any ideas for good questions regarding Cuba and the United States relations with them?

Here are some sites
There are a couple of websites about Cuba, HERE and HERE. It is an opportunity to compare and contrast Collectivism and Individualism.
There is always Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and questions about how that cozy relationship was started. We have an embargo on trade; yet somehow it is fine to build, transport and maintain a US military concentration camp? Heaven forbid, we travel to Cuba and get a look at Collectivism, first hand.
How about:
We do business with China - a communist nation. Why can't we do business with Cuba?
Also: It appears that China's financial boom over the last couple of decades has modernized their society and raised their standard of living, at least in the cities. Actually, in this current financial climate they appear more capitalistic than the US. Would the same approach not work in Cuba?
If the whole reason for occupying and installing a puppet regime in Iraq was "possible" weapons and that Sadaam was a "bad guy" - why don't we just take over Cuba since the same reasons exist? (That might be a fascinating answer)
