I read we can make this ourselves, along with the fact the FDA is trying to outlaw it's use.

What success stories do you have with it's use.

There are two brands of colloidal silver that I was recommended and have used, SilverBiotics and Mesosilver. Here is an article on colloidal silver(True colloidal silver) that is very important to read. Especially read the comments section.

Saved my life when I was diagnosed with blood poisoning two months ago. The bacteria had already spread to my joints and I was fading rapidly.

After a two day stay in the hospital (which only made feel like I was getting worse) I left and contacted a highly reputable naturopath who put me on garlic, olive leaf and a strict regimen of 500ppm colloidal silver.

The pain in my joints went away within a few days. The other symptoms lingered for about two weeks. With the exception that I lost a tremendous amount of weight that I haven't gained back..I feel fine physically.

I do recommend that you use an experienced herbalist..If anyone needs her name...please contact me..

PLEASE learn how to make it and use it yourself, though. While I agree the aid of a knowledgeable person is very good advice, there is no reason YOU can not be the knowledgeable person. Study up on it, it is not that hard to tell if you made it right or not.

Thing is, we don't know what is coming down the road, The more you know, the more likely you will survive. And we need all our kats!

It's a good idea to study the difference before experimenting with silver. Particles of silver larger then the nonoparticle size cannot pass the blood-brain barrior...and therefore are little effective and can even be harmful.

Please don't bring these weird topics here. Colloidal silver has absolutely NOTHING to do with Ron Paul, his campaign, his major issues, or his supporters in general.

As a mainsteam Ron Paul supporter, I'd like to say that I don't believe in this stuff and I know I speak for millions of others.

Just because you are unaware of something or it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it's nutty.

I do not find Tylenol to work at all for a headache, but others do. Does that make them crazy for seeking it?

If you wanna talk about "crazy" remedies, one need look no further than penicillin. Something derived from MOLD. Ick. But crazy? Hardly.

I happen to be allergic to it, but I don't go around calling people crazy who find it beneficial.

Somehow, I don't think you would be doing the same namecalling if Tylenol and penicillin were the things the FDA were trying to take away from people and they had discussion about it.

Colloidal silver apparently works for some and those people don't want the FDA removing their access to it. What in blazes is your problem with that?

The role of the FDA and it's limiting of freedom of choice is quite a valid RP-related topic.

But many of the people in this thread do and because of what the FDA is trying to do, that makes it a valid discussion for this forum.

Silver has been used for hundreds of years as a bacterial killing agent.

The used to hang silverware in water on the old wagon trains out west to keep it the water from becoming stagnant.

Yes the FDA is trying to ban it cause it is hurting Big Pharmasutical companies profits.

Oil of oregano is often used for infections. Perhaps you can use this article to find more articles on the use of this for MRSA. Also French Clay has been touted as effective. Personally I would stay with the colloidal silver mostly because I have that on hand.

Our family had a MRSA outbreak, started making and taking CS about two years ago. Not a single sign of MRSA in our family. We bought a nebulizer and put CS in it for kids when they get congested. Two treatments and its gone. Put CS drops in my daughters ear and killed an ear infection she got. Hope this helps.

They can't seem to get it under control and is a big enemy of the hospital.
