There are Beck Co-Workers, probably even Beck himself, lurking the halls of liberty (anything and all Ron Paul).
The people on Daily Paul who keep posting these quasi "Let's make up with Glenn blogs" or "let's give Glenn a chance" posts are either Beck's personal assistants or are too egotistically committed to previous debates to admit it's over.

I think that it would be better if we just keep our eyes wide open and as long as any of the media "stars" broadcast the correct message, fine. Hang 'em out to dry only when it becomes obvious that they are sabotaging it, not when they are wittingly or unwittingly bringing more people around to the cause.
There are many millions out there who know of nothing but Fox News and the talking heads and many of them have come around to Constitutional thinking through many different avenues. It doesn't matter how we have all gotten here whether it was through the Fox News, JBS, through Aaron Russo, Jones, WeThePeople, CFL, the sign waving last year for Dr. Paul, etc. Some have been at it a long time and know quite a lot, some of the newer people are just learning and are trying to catch up.
The point is, is that we are here NOW with more coming aboard every day, and keeping on message is paramount in this gruesome but worthwhile struggle. Arguing about who qualifies to convey the message to the masses does nothing but sidestep the fight to win our freedom back.

He's calling attention to the one big thing -- our country being looted and handed over to foreign bankers, which is the root of the problem.
Nothing else can be fixed if we are hungry and poor and have no freedom of speech or are subject to an 'international court'. (Read up on the latest crook to be appointed, Mr. Koh, and your hair will curl)
If I can get the cable guy to watch Beck and come to the conclusion that this financial crisis was created in order to corral people into approval of the looting, then so be it. This is happening. People are filling in the dots for themselves without much else being said by Beck. But at least he is opening the can of worms for them.

Jane Aitken, I think you are a smart and sincere person. Glenn Beck comes across the same way. But you are two very different people, as far as I can gather on the limited info that I have.
From reading your various posts, you see the current administration and atmosphere as the enemy. You are willing to accept help from Glenn Beck. Maybe if Hannity and Limbaugh start saying the right things, you'll be good with them too. I don't know. In this fight against the current administration and the direction we're being taken....it seems as if you'd be comfortable with being in the trenches with Neocon and McCain sympathizers.
You are definitely focused on the now. And you've identified the problem. Last year the problem was something different. This year the problem is Obama. Four years from now the problem will have changed again. We'll see if you're still friendly with the Neocons then.
This may or may not be your perspective, I'm just going on what I read in your blogs, and the things you post. I don't have much to work on.
The thing about all that...is.....it's not my perspective at all. I have identified the problem to be long term, and the culprit to be US, as in WE. As in the citizens of the United States of America.
Not the politicians. Not really even the government. Not Barrack Obama. Not the current administration or the last one.
Us.
The only solution is long term education of our citizens.
I do not think that the current mindset that we should band together with Glenn Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, neocon sheeple that are supposedly waking up...is a good long term strategy.
And the reason is quite simple. Yes you've seen an "awakening". But it's not the awakening you think it is. This game has been played for decades, and every four or eight years, there's countless people like you who think the time is now, and they've seen an awakening, and we should reach across the aisle.
I just shake my head. This has all gone on before, and will continue to go on, every four to eight years.
How do you think the modern Republican party was created? It was an awakening. And all sorts of bootlickers joined hands across the aisle, to form the current neocon party....all in the name of "true conservatism". If we all just band together despite our differences, we can make a government that will do what we want.
Now now that Republican transformation is happening again, it's reinventing itself once more. And you think you are molding it, when in fact it's molding you. Many of you.
Another criticism that I have for a lot of you Beck sympathizers on this board, is that you are over capitalizing on this current crisis. If you over do it, then it will be a short term gain. When the economy finally turns around, people will abandon your message as one that was built on panic and fear. Beck is certainly going to be talking about nothing I'm interested in, just give him 2 or 3 years, he'll be on something entirely different, probably back to his old neocon ways, and droves will follow him, perhaps some that we could have kept in the small, constitutional government camp, had we relied less on mainstream talking heads, and the current crisis, and made true arguments that stand on their own merits rather then what a lot of us seem to be doing today.
I myself, do make salient points to potential newcomers and or those on the fence, as to the current situation and crisis. But I am careful to include information that explains why we still need a proper sized government with a proper role, regardless if the economy is doing well or not. I explain to them about the cycle of government and the parties taking turns having their way with us. I speak about we the people needing to limit the government, and that it's our duty to keep the size and role of government in check. So yes, we should be taking a stand against all the destructive legislation that is currently in the works....but at the same time, realizing that we've had decades of destructive legislation, and the last 8 to 12 years have been no bed of roses.
Lastly, mainstream TV, especially national TV, and all it's personalities only HELP government to grow. If you can't see that in FOX, and MSNBC then I suggest you look at a bigger picture.

I do have a problem with the "guests" he has had on lately.They are far from the idea of liberty and take more of a stance of advocating wars and a greater police state.
