Do a search around the net for the NPR poll link.
You will find that the only other candidates besides Ron Paul, that even really have an open community driven presence is Romney and Huckabee, and theirs are very small compared to Ron Paul.
And unless they have deleted it, the only other supporters that were really "pushing" for votes, claiming that they must win, were Romney supporters. Screenshots were taken and posted, even if they did delete it. See the NPR comments.
Not to mention that Romney supporters were openly discussing how to inflate the votes, and then Romney votes were indeed inflated in a near vertical climb in the middle of the night before the poll was to end.
But, yeah, it "could" have been someone else.

if someone would even the playing field or court as it were; and people were even slightly more educated about our republic, Ron would win. Maybe wishfull thinking but I hope Ron is still keeping an open mind about running in 2012.

They are probably the same ones who cheated in the straw polls as documented on youtube.
If any Romney fans are reading this - your guy had a good chance in the primaries and he lost big to McCain. He's done.
What's even more concerning is that these Romney supporters actually dislike Paul to a great extent to that of Hate from trying to discredit him in this entire poll. For this reason alone if Dr. Paul does not win the primaries in 2011 (if he runs) he really needs to go third party. You will have Some Romney Republicans purposely sabotaging our guy if he were to win the Primary.
