Verdict: Geitner and Paulson guilty of FRAUD

Listen to this 28 minute interview with fraud expert William Black as he explains to Bill Moyers how deliberate, widespread fraud by a handful of banksters, Geitner, and Paulson has caused our economic crisis.

Moyer
acts suprised. He drooled in interviews over alot of the culprits including Phil Gramm and John McCain.
Excellent interview
Thank you. I thought it was interesting that they showed the clip of Geithner responding to Ron Paul and saying he is "not a regulator." Moyers and Bill Black pounced on that and said that was Geithner's whole problem- he didn't regulate enough. It's a shame the interview didn't delve deeper into what they meant by "regulation." It seems that Black is just saying we should be more vigilant in prosecuting cases of fraud. And Dr. Paul would agree with that.
This is my favorite part:
BILL MOYERS: To hear you say this is unusual because you supported Barack Obama, during the campaign. But you're seeming disillusioned now.
WILLIAM K. BLACK: Well, certainly in the financial sphere, I am. I think, first, the policies are substantively bad. Second, I think they completely lack integrity. Third, they violate the rule of law. This is being done just like Secretary Paulson did it. In violation of the law. We adopted a law after the Savings and Loan crisis, called the Prompt Corrective Action Law. And it requires them to close these institutions. And they're refusing to obey the law.
That's a good summary.
Thanks for the good summary

This
was a great interview last night!
Bill Moyer actually sounded shocked at some of it.
Never heard of William Black before the interview but won't forget him now.
