Time for less "Civil" and more "disobedience" perhaps?

I have been astounded at how many times Ron Paul will call for civil disobedience, and nothing happens. We have a "protest" but only after we get the proper permits. We all want to end the fed, but the best idea we can come up with is to send someone some FRNs and hope they will do something smarter than we just did. Most of us agree an income tax is unconstitutional but are about to pony up our share to help fund the endless war we claim to want to end. It seems to me that all the Patriots are standing around waiting for Ron Paul to tell them exactly what to do and when to do it. He might eventually do that, but I doubt it. He is trying to hold the line in Congress. If HE leads an act of civil disobedience, he will be prosecuted to the ends of the earth.

I am frequently faulted for being unwilling to send any FRNs anywhere any more. It is in part due to my FIRM belief that if I want to end the Fed, I have to stop circulating FRNs at every chance, It is in no small part due to the near absence of FRNs in my life... So maybe it is just my financial condition that makes me see things this way, but I don't really think so. I really, really believe we have to break some laws and challenge them in the "justice" system. Ideally, we need to overwhelm the courts with millions of charges against housewives and white collar workers for some stupid law.

With the apparent trend toward legalizing marijuana, maybe that is the law to challenge, although one that is not a felony might be a better choice. I truly believe we need to pick a time and date far enough out to really get the word out, and pick one law that we are going to try to get every American to break at the same time.

A few ideas:
A smoke out, Everybody light up (you do not have to inhale to join in the symbolic event.)

A seat belt revolt. Everyone catch your seatbelt in the door so it is obvious you are not wearing it for one designated hour. (And drive VERY carefully during that hour!)

A free speech zone protest. NO FRIGGIN' PERMITS. Just pick a place to get everyone together with signs that say "I AM JUST HERE TO BOTHER YOU" or something equally inane. We ARE allowed to assemble, we do NOT have to ask permission.

This one is edgy: A Hate speech day. I am sorry, but this nonsense about "hate crimes" is a very insidious piece of liberty eating nastiness. It sounds lovely, we really ought to LOVE, not hate... but "hate" is an EMOTION, not a crime. I hate brussel sprouts, and I DO mean hate. I don't like cream of wheat, but I can eat it. Brussel sprouts literally gag me, and I cannot swallow them. Even if I HATE a human, it is NOT a crime. So, how about a day where we all wave signs confessing to what we hate?

OK, I got that off my chest. I do know that any solution that begins with "If we all" is not a solution. I do know that the only thing that will work will begin with "I will."

"I WILL continue to seek truth diligently and speak truth to the best of my ability."

We need less "civil" and more "disobedience" if we expect anything to change. Using our current strategy, we are about to be annihilated.

Don't Hold Your Breathe!

I floated an idea earlier in the week that was probably more along the lines of "disobedience" than civil. The responses from 1/2 of responders sounded more like PC crybabies than agents of change.

A few here probably get it but when the rubber meets the road I guess most are satisfied with paltry BS like **DIGG THIS!**. As if a few more posts are going to change something. LOL

Civil Disobedience - Playing "breakdown"

Read it and weep.

Socialists are Everywhere

I saw that!

You will note I was the first to bump it, and even expounded a bit.

This is for you:
If you are one step ahead of the crowd, you are a leader. If you are two steps ahead, you are a kook.

I would give proper credit for that quote if I could. I heard it from my husband.

Yes, More Props Should Have Been Given

Yes, more props should have been given to those who gave the thought some positive attention.

I was just a bit surprised at the ratio of negatives to positives, I thought more would be on board for things like that.

Socialists are Everywhere

was that the breakdown idea?
