TALKING LAMP POSTS!
TALKING lampposts which dish out a stern telling-off to anyone caught misbehaving have been unveiled as the latest weapon in the war against crime.

Speakers fixed to CCTV cameras will allow operators based at Tameside Council’s control room in Ashton to bellow messages warning trouble-makers they are being watched.
